They have the refund credit in their possession. All they have to do is ring up and get the cash refund. Why over complicate it?Browntoa said:Charge back

I have tried calling and they are hanging up immediately. They aren't even putting me on hold.bradders1983 said:

I will keep trying, but I will have to draw a line somewhere and need to put a plan in place for what to do if I cannot get through.
I was promised a cash refund verbally over the phone weeks ago but received no written confirmation and now have received a credit refund which, I understand, they should not be sending out if a cash refund has already been agreed.0 -
You are best off just keeping trying and trying. You will get it.Crystalline said:

Chargebacks can be reversed back and thats even assuming your CC company will allow it given you have a voucher in your hand that needs a phone call to convert to cash. Small claims court will take over 6 months. Travel insurers wont be interested as you have a credit in your hands/inbox.

That's not fraud..bradders1983 said:Their website states you can ring them once you recieve the credit refund to get it in cash instead.
Chargeback is pointless. Do the above. Details on the TUI website of the number to ring, you will just have to keep trying if it is busy.
Also if you did a chargeback and it was successful it is essentially fraud as you would have been refunded twice in effect.
Fraud is asking for refunds from difference places, with the intent to keep both.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

I will keep trying but need a backup plan as there is nothing stopping TUI from stonewalling everyone.0 -
They arent stonewalling everyone. The most people in their history are trying to ring them at a time they will have the least staff. There are posts in this thread of people getting through.Crystalline said:

If they weren't stonewalling then they'd be putting people in a queue, not hanging up. Everyone expects them to be busy, I'm happy to be put on hold but they aren't even doing that.bradders1983 said:

Phone systems can only handle X people in a queue at any one time.Crystalline said:
