Has anybody received a refund in the last few days?  I'm just wondering what date they're up to & if they're anywhere near refunding my end of May flights.
My flights for 2nd May were refunded last Saturday, 52 days after submitting my refund request.

Quick question, does anyone know what the refund time limit was for cancelled flights before Covid19?

I have received an email to say that my flight has been cancelled and I've been offered a voucher or change flight dates or a refund. However, when I log in to mange my bookings and to go through the questions, which don't all apply to me and  to request refund or voucher it does not give the question to request a full refund. I would like to know if easyjet are actually giving a full refund or is it vouchers only? They say that they will be valid for 12 months but actually expire may 2021 (not 12 months on my calandar!)
Go to their website, not through the email or my booking, click on the link at the top of the page "Covid 19 Help Hub", click through the options as they apply to your flight and you should get to an item 3 headed "View my other options, click through that and you'll find a link to a "refund application form", keep going and good luck...
    Thanks for your help

It was and still is by law set at 7 days
  • I got a refund last week for flights 17th-21st May. Took 7 weeks.

Hi, Easyjet cancelled my outbound flight last week and I applied for a refund through the website using the refund form. Now the return flight has also been cancelled, does anyone know if  I need to apply for a refund for that as well or will the refund request cover both flights as they are the same booking reference? Thanks
I would quite like to know the answer to this too. My flight to Naples in July has been cancelled, however my flight home has not yet been cancelled. I am reluctant to start the refund process until they have cancelled this flight too as on my booking form it says "Please note only one online form will be accepted per booking". I would have assumed that of course they would refund my flight back too as part of the process  but I don't think you can make any assumptions with Easyjet!

7 days in these circumstances?   I didn't know Easyjet employed Superman and Marvo the Magician.
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!
  • Hi just a note of caution in case this helps anyone - we applied for a voucher rather than refund for cancelled flights in May. Voucher arrived today, for correct amount and including extra £5 each as a thankyou from Easyjet -- we found new flights for next year PROBLEM is that  voucher email  says we cannot use voucher on line , have to telephone customer service to book.. Guess what , customer services are busy , booking by telephone costs more than on line, and by the time we manage to get through the prices bound to increase. No benefit in the thankyou gesture of £5. If we knew we could not use voucher on line we would not have chosen that option.
We have the same dilemma.  We have a flight only booking to Crete in July. But when I looked at the voucher option it says in the terms and conditions that the voucher CANNOT be used against flight only bookings! We already have accommodation as we go every year and book directly with the hotel.

Would be interested if anyone had any information about this?
Thanks to the advice from others, I didn't accept the voucher offer, and waited until they cancelled the flights, so I could claim a full refund.
What I find slightly strange is the claim form asks for the booking reference, not the flight number (I guess because flight numbers eventually are reused?)
So I claimed a refund for the outbound flight, and since then, I have received an email to confirm the return flight has been cancelled.
I am hoping that both flights will be refunded through the initial claim, as they are both booked directly under the same booking reference. I'm sure I'll find out in a couple months when the refund is processed.
