I applied to Easyjet for 4 refunds due to cancelled flights on the 27th April 2020 using their online form. As yet I have heard nothing, how long should I have to wait & is it worth contacting my credit card company to try to get the money from them. Any advice would be much appreciated.
P.S. I am having the same problem with Eurostar.
We had flight cancelled to Cyprus and applied for refund that very day (might have been 27/4 +/- one day). Email yesterday to say refund processed. Hope to see it on CC within a few days.....

Has anyone had an EasyJet flight (not EasyJet package holiday) for June cancelled with LESS than than 14 days notice?  We're hoping ours for 5th July will get cancelled, but its getting close to 14 days before that and is still showing as available to book. I see folks on here have had EasyJet holidays cancelled at short notice, and standalone flights cancelled at short notice in earlier months, but what about standalone flights this month?
My flight for 3rd July (Tirana - Gatwick) was cancelled on 18th June.  Gatwick - Tirana for 24th June was cancelled on 9th June.  15 days in advance for each.
Ta - any recent experiences are useful. But no-one reporting standalone Easyjet flights cancelled at shorter notice this month?

If it's not showing as "Sold out" then it means that Easyjet think that it's highly likely to go ahead.
Easyjet shows flights to Iceland (that's where we are going) as available 5 days a week throughout July - not sure if there would really be demand for that many.  And EasyJet do not appear on Reykjavik airports list of airline they expect to fly there in June/July.   Or maybe I'm just clutching at straws here, hoping they will cancel. Did consider trying to move flights, but reading this thread it seems EasyJet can mess that up and charge you full fare again for the new flight.

Have a flight to Alicante on the 6th July and on checking website last night my outbound flight was cancelled so more than14 days before. Return flight isn’t cancelled and I have had no contact from EasyJet. Have already submitted my claim for a refund.

Today I received a refund for flights from easyJet. For anyone interested, this was the timeline:

    - Booked via Expedia (card charged by easyJet) departing at the beginning of May
    - Outbound flights cancelled by easyJet 12 days prior
    - Inbound flights cancelled by easyJet 12 days prior
    - Refund request submitted via easyJet Covid-19 Help Hub
    - Acknowledgement email received within 10 minutes
    - Confirmation of refund received 51 days after request
    - Money back on my card 3 days later

At no stage have I made or received contact from Expedia regarding these flights. They were booked as a package with accommodation which was fully refundable (cancelled and received accommodation refund in April). My ATOL certificate was issued by Expedia and is for a package (single-contract).

I booked a 1-way flight from London Luton to Inverness back in September 2019 and the flight was for 8th July 2020. I've now received an email from EasyJet "Important changes to your upcoming flight". The email says the changes made to my flight are change to departure and arival times, departure and arrival date and your departure airport. What they've done is move me (without me agreeing) to depart a day later (9th July 2020) from Gatwick not Luton. The flight no has also changed. I don't want to go not least because no hotels in Scotland are open so I will have nowhere to stay. I believe if the flight number has changed I am entitled to a refund. The booking also included car hire with Europcar.

However the email says if I do NOT agree to these changes my only option is to call them. I've tried manage my booking online but it just shows the "check in, add extra bags, speedy boarding" options, but nothing about changes, cancellation or refunds.

In adition the only options the email mentions are to change to a different date or claim a voucher, but both options require me to call. I don't want a voucher I would like a refund because if I do go I'll now go later in the year and drive. However I have tried calling a number of times but there are two options "Flight Only" (which this isn't as it includes car hire) or EasyJEt Holidays. If I select the latter I just get a message the call centre is closed. So if I select Flight Only i usually get the message they are too busy, go away. I did once get in the queue but after more than an hour I gave up.

Can anyone offer any advice? I'm tempted to go down the Credit Card route because my worry is if I can't get through to them they will consider I'm just a "no show" against the booking they amended for me (without agreement) and will refuse any sort of refund so I don't have long to do something about it.

We have easyJet flights booked to Germany on 22nd July which we are not intending to go on.  It's great that easyJet offer a free change of flights but they haven't released flights after 31st May 2021 yet and we already have flights booked for every school holiday until then ... except I could perhaps squeeze a May Bank holiday weekend in... which isn't ideal and the flights are cheaper than those I have paid for.  When are easyJet cancelling flights?  Is it more than 2 weeks before flights?  I would think it would be as it looks like in the T&Cs they may have to pay compensation if less than 2 weeks notice.   I am hoping that easyJet will cancel the flights.  All of the flights from Manchester to Munich are showing as "sold out" until the 6th September which obviously they aren't

On your point about compensation, as I understand it from having read this forum, no compensation is due when covid-19 is the reason for cancellation.

Thanks.  I am mainly interested in finding out how far in advance are easyJet cancelling flights.. 3 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week or less!  I probably waffled on too much.

EDIT : I have found the answer on easyJet's website.

"If you have an existing booking on a flight which now shows as ‘Sold Out’, we will be in touch at least 21 days before your departure date to confirm your travel details."

Personally I would take timeline stated in the answer you have found with a pinch of salt - many on here, myself included, have received cancellation emails around 7-10 days before flying.
