  • I tried calling Easy jet today - no response as flight cancelled on us and do not want a voucher (their link says you can get a refund but it doesn’t actually offer one in reality which is against the law!).... my advice ...Don’t waste any more of your precious time - DO CHARGE BACK. ( If debit card. ) We did today and our bank did it instantly- money in my account already.  You must ensure that flight cancelled first.  If no luck write to the head office (recorded delivery) and say you want a refund within 30 days or you will take them to the small claims court otherwise.
  • Hi all. There's a lot of messages in this thread to go through - but does anyone know what airports Easyjet are most likely to open in the coming weeks? Is it likely that Manchester will be one of these?
We have flights from Manchester to Montenegro on 28th June, but live in Scotland where the restrictions are tighter and so we don't expect to be allowed to travel to Manchester. But I'm worried that the flights won't be cancelled meaning that we'lll lose the value of the flights.
Any thoughts or advice? Considering transferring the flights for an Easter break in Portugal, but of course no one knows what the state of play will be then!

Easiest way is to go and look if the flight you are on is still available to be purchased.

There's nothing to stop you driving from Scotland to Manchester.
I drove from Falkirk to St Andrews , then down to Birmingham and finally onto Heathrow Airport from where I flew back up to Glasgow. This was last weekend.

Hi. I have flights booked for July to Bilbao. Out of nowhere flights on multiple dates went to 'Fully booked'.
I don't want to wait until 5 days before I'm due to fly to find out if I'm going on holiday or not, especially as I have to cancelled the hotel 14 days before to get any refund at all!
Does anyone know the 'Fully booked' is actually code for Cancelled?
    Thanks.

I’m booked Manchester to Bilbao in early July, and it’s also saying fully booked, I expect the flight to be cancelled and our accommodation providers in Spain & France have pushed our bookings back 12 months to 2021.
  • My flight to Zakynthos changed to fully booked a week before it was cancelled if that helps

This now seems standard easyJet practice , leave it to the last moment to see if things change , I assume they close off new booking but leave themselves a window before cancellation in case everything gets relaxed and the flight can continue

  • I know it will probably be rejected but I've just submitted a claim with Barclaycard for my flight refund - will be interested to see how it progresses
