Well proof that Easyjet still exist and are paying out some money.......
Our expense claim for a taxi from Gatwick to Bristol (Rescue flight only going to Gatwick) in March has been approved and should be back in our account in 7 - 10 days.
    Hopefully your statement isn't a bit pre-emptive

New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

I have flights booked with easyjet for July 7th, Greece is now open and what with flights starting up again its possible that our flights will go, i want to change them for a similar time next year but easyjets flights for next July aren't on sale until 3rd august when i go into manage my booking the only options are change my flight which i cant because they aren't available yet has anyone had a similar situation or having any suggestions please ?
  • Flights cancelled at the end of March by Easyjet so tried contacting them for a refund. Unable to get through on phone so filled in online refund request form. Still not heard anything back after more than a month so yesterday went online and filled in details for a disputed transaction with American Express. Money credited to our account today. Amazed.

The only reservation I have with doing this myself is that I have heard easyjet ban travellers who do this from using their service.
As we fly with easyjet at least twice a year to a destination that only they fly to on a budget basis I don't want to risk it...

Honestly, and I don't *think* I'm alone here - I will NEVER book with easyJet again. Ever.  I hear Jet2 refunds are coming through thick and fast.

Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

He's also advising people to accept vouchers so not sure which vested interests he has at heart!

Same here. Easyjet have made decisions about how they deal with this.  They have furloughed thousands of staff but left themselves under-resourced to deal with customer refunds and queries.  If you try to use the refund form on their website, they actually use the amount of time it'll take for a refund to try to persuade you to take a voucher! It really wouldn't have been hard to create an automated process for refunds but they've chosen not to do that but to build up delays instead.
When all this is over people will remember for a long time which firms treated them well (there are plenty of examples) and which badly (e. g. EJ).
We've already booked our flights for 2021 with Jet2.

There was an article somewhere where Ryanair debunked that particular rumour.

I've been trying to contact Easyjet about my flight only booking for the past couple of months, so far without any success! I was due to fly to Krakow for a week earlier this month, but my accommodation in Poland was cancelled and no UK citizens were allowed to fly to that country at that time anyway. I didn't cancel the flight but decided to change it and book a flight to Prague in September. That I was able to do, but I noticed that instead of using the money I had already paid for the Krakow flight (£105) they charged me again (£62). I just want to ask them why they did this. I've tried using Resolver, but just keep going round in circles, with Easyjet asking me to use the Manage Booking section of their website.  :(
