Easyjet have just cancelled my flight for 6June.  I assume that hey will be doing a mass cancellation up to at least 15 June following their announcement today.
Also been cancelled for 6th June, haven’t had an email but flicked on the app and saw it. We’d like to rebook for June 2021 when the flights are released (2nd July?) but just feel very wary of taking a voucher...find it hard to see a refund coming through in time for that release date though.
  • Apologies if this has been raised before, but I have a question about time limits as to when I can request a refund/ voucher due to Covid cancellation.
Do i have to make the claim before the flight was due to depart or can I wait until afterwards. The reason being I'd rather just change to the same flights in half term next year, but as yet these have not been released.

I'm surely not the only person to be wondering this, but my searches have proved somewhat ambiguous.

Just had notification of another flight cancellation and applied for a refund. The preamble to the refund form says that it may take the entire summer to process refunds. I am already beyond the 28 days for a another Easyjet refund.
Has anyone actually had a refund?
Thinking of trying a chargeback. Very disappointing that Easyjet continue to break the law and that none of the regulatory bodies seem to be doing anything about it. Easy jet have thousands of Furloughed staff that they could be using to clear the backlog. All sympathy for them has gone......

I cant imagine airlines will be rushing to get staff back to pay money out faster.

If the regulatory bodies did the job properly then maybe they would make more effort.......

This question has been asked a number of times recently and I have yet to see a positive response, which is concerning.

My Flights from Edinburgh to Birmingham 6th June and return on the 8th were cancelled today. The value of the booking is only nominal (£50 odd in total).
I am going to utilise the "free transfer" facility to sort my X-Mas Flights down and back.
