For those who have requested a refund and also raised a chargeback, there is a third avenue that I have taken and would advise more people do the same.

Resolver.co.uk (endorsed by MSE) is a case management tool that's free.  EJ aren't properly subscribed to it, but if they don't give you a deadlock letter within 8 weeks, you can escalate to AviationADR (who EJ are subscribed to) who can force a refund.  Funnily enough, their 90 day refund timescale is longer than the 8 weeks of silence required for escalation to ADR.  So expect movement after 56 days using this avenue.

Not seen that when I've signed in over the past week.
Theres no way of contacting them.
And no way of changing flights- it lets you go through changing flights but always an error code  when you try pay the fee.
It's as if they've shut up shop

I know this was asked a few days ago but I don't think anyone replied to say yes - so re-asking: has anyone got a refund yet for a EJ Covid cancelled flight?  And what steps did you take if so? (Covid refund request online-form, phoning them up etc)?

That's great news! How long did it take and did you use the online form or have to call them?

I haven't, sorry for confusion. Noticed others have on fb and Twitter. I took advantage of changing the flight to any day anywhere

There is no way of changing flights or contacting easyjet currently . This has been going on for over a week. Maybe it's due to the data breach.
  • Hello,
I've been keeping up with this post and Easyjet etc but am still very lost.
We have a flight booked in the last week of August. At first, we were happy to accept vouchers to rebook next year but this is now not an option. We cannot go as we are mostly teachers and cannot come back to quarantine for two weeks in September. There are other factors of concern of risk as well. It is now saying that we can either change the flight, as many times, up to may 2021. Does anybody know if that means our next holiday has to be prior to May 2021 or we have to book within that time? We just don't know what to do! And really don't want to lose the money for 5 people's flights as we've already had to take the hit on the villa deposit. 😔
    Thank you

Well proof that Easyjet still exist and are paying out some money.......
Our expense claim for a taxi from Gatwick to Bristol (Rescue flight only going to Gatwick) in March has been approved and should be back in our account in 7 - 10 days.
