Easyjet cancellations and refunds

I'm on day 34 waiting for a refund.FtbDreaming said:Has anybody at all actually had a refund from Easyjet?I've applied for a chargeback via my bank (NatWest) but they tell me it'll be 45 days before they pay me as they wait for the retailer to challenge it before repaying me.I do think the CAA should force them to repay any outstanding refund requests before allowing them to fly again.0 -
I'm on day 32 and still haven't got a refund. The card has since been closed (although not fully - as it currently has a positive balance from other holiday related refunds like airbnb etc - just waiting for the flight to refund then I'll get them to refund me the positive balance and fully close the card). Similar to paddyandstumpy the card in question is a NatWest credit card and I've also tried my luck with the chargeback form even though it's closed, who knows it's worth a try.0

I believe the consumer protection you receive is applicable from the date of the agreement/transaction. In other words, even if the card is closed your protection is not lost.withaspritz said:I'm on day 32 and still haven't got a refund. No way at all of contacting easyjet!0 -
The websites getting a lot of traffic because of the hack for password changing.
It's also getting hit by people trying to change their flights so the whole thing cannot cope.

I ended up phoning up, the person I spoke to say they needed authorization to change it from a manager (don't know if the difference in price was a factor).
Was authorized, and my flights changed.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.
