Have flights to Ibiza booked for 20th May... any idea of the days in advance of a flight that Easyjet are cancelling their them?
Our accommodation is booked, but without a deposit as we are friends with those with the accommodation. However I would like to give them as much notice as possible to tell them we cant go. TBH Im not sure they would want us there considering the circumstances.

I received a cancellation notice 7 days before both of my scheduled flights.

I've just used the link provided by @peadar to cancel our outbound flight to Crete on May 12th. I presume that Easyjet will cancel the return flight (on the 19th May) next week?

Will I get confirmation of my refund request?
The form doesn't say this, but my understanding is that it is to be completed to apply for a refund once easyjet actually cancels your flight (via email and/or 'My Bookings'). Prior to that, it's either vouchers or rebooking.
Thanks. Received a 'refund request received' email from Easyjet this morning.
  • Where there's been a change in the original booking particulars and extra payment had to be made for the change (as with easyJet), is a refund due for both the original cost of the ticket and the change, ie the total paid to the airline, or just the cost of the original ticket?  Does anyone know?

I've got a holiday booked for the end of August to Greece, final payment is due at the end of June. I've received an email from Easyjet stating that if I am concerned about making the final payment, then I do not have to make the payment and they will refund my deposit automatically in the form of a credit to my account. They have also said that if I am still wanting to travel then to continue to make my payment when It's due.
Now I still want to go on holiday at the end of August, should I take the offer of the credit for my deposit or make my full payment in June?
If after I've made my full payment something goes wrong like Greece decide not to allow UK tourist into the country, will I still be entitle to a full refund?

Hi there, We applied for a refund on Easyjet as they cancelled the flight and we have just had a mail back (text below) saying we are not entitled to a refund. Is that right? What should next steps be? No point in ringing them you just get cutoff. Any help gratefully received.

You have been refused compensation , did that get you home on another flight ?

Did you claim for a refund on your flight if you didn't fly

Even if you do manage get to Greece. You may then have a challenge to re-enter the UK.
  • What that is about is compensation ( that no airline is paying)
You can claim a refund , or  expenses if you had too take a different flight.

The notification states you are not entitled to EU261 compensation (which you are not)
how did you request the refund? could you have completed the incorrect form?
