Saw my parents this afternoon (nearly 76) and they are now self isolating. I mended the internet and downloaded Duolingo so mum can do some French practice! We've also discussed setting up Skype so they can continue to play their friends at scrabble.5

Hello Friends
Things moving far too fast for me,last week so I thought I'd get ahead of the curve this morning and check in before I do anything else. Only a few days into self isolation, so this week is still a little open to interpretation. We're still setting the rules for total lockdown as we're not social animals, our current isolation is for our own protection right now. This morning we going through the fresh stuff again with clear heads and going through meal plans & LOs (left overs) for the week or so to stretch things out should Four Months happen
I'm an omnivore. Mrs Un is vegan. We intend getting through this with minimal disruption and such that we can help out friends & strangers alike. I'm waffling now. Time to check the news and have a cup of tea. A little cold this morning but dry. Up & at 'em in the garden when it warms up later
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?5 -
I’ve only been awake an hour and the anxiety has started! It’s not about COVID-19 – I’ve been suffering from general anxiety for a long time. It’s a beautiful morning here so I am going to put my phone out of the way and try and get on with something positive rather than listening to the news and reading what people are saying on other pages8

It's a gorg , sunny day here today.Bonnie dog is skipping around outside like a Spring lamb:(
Am going to do a freezer, fridge n cupboard inventory to see exactly what I need for my online shop next week. Have already had a peep, n no loo rolls, bleach , or baby wipes to be had .I wasn't stockpiling these, just adding them to my regular shop.
Have decided to stop watching all the doom n gloom news for now, cos I get sucked in n very anxious about it all,, which is pointless, as i'm staying safe the best I can at the mo.
Mum's dentist has rung , cancelling her appointment, n saying they're not treating the over 70's at the moment!"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
