Is it is just me or is it getting even harder to get on the Tesco website at midnight. Couldn't even get on it last night. What time do others join the 'queue'? Thanks
I succeeded in getting in the Tesco queue at 23.52 on one occasion and  23.51 on another about 3 weeks later. But I suppose it will still depend on demand in your area; unless they take your address into account you could be in a queue with loads of others in your area or they might be on the other side of the country.

I got into the queue tonight at 23.52. At 4 minutes past midnight all the slots were gone.  I’m trying to keep two orders going at once.  One at the start of the month and one in the middle and I’m fast reaching the conclusion that ASDA is the way to go

Yes, I think Tesco is getting worse.  The last 3 nights i've joined the queue about the same time (23.51) and finally connected about 12.05 and all slots have gone.  Not sure whether its best to you to use the app or the website though?  What do you reckon?
    Thanks

Is it possible to book another delivery slot if you are already waiting for a delivery you have previously booked? Or would your new slot end up replacing your other one?

I am not convinced that Tesco are releasing slots at midnight any more. I went in at about 7am and there are multiple delivery slots for me to book for every day from tomorrow to Saturday, but nothing at all after Saturday. It my be different for those with vulnerable priority.

I have two local ASDAs - one of them has Click and Collect slots available all day long for this week and next (but not the weekend).
It does seem to me that things are improving!
  • I have never faffed around at midnight trying to get a delivery from Tesco I just check in randomly during the day and have had no difficulty getting a delivery at least once a fortnight. I also supplement this with large bags of split peas, buckwheat, quinoa, and millet ordered from Amazon which, served with a bit of butter, can bulk out the more interesting ingredients. Tesco has now more than doubled their home delivery capacity so I think it is less of an issue.

Yes this is possible. No, the new slot would not end up replacing the previous.
However to manage demand I believe some SMs including Tesco, are allowing one order only to be booked at a time.
I'm happy to be corrected if my information is out of date.

it may depend on your location and store. I currently have 2 orders booked 16 days apart
  • I have been trying for two weeks to get a Tesco delivery. I received one on 22nd April by going on at 11.45 3 weeks earlier and being in a queue until 12.20. Since then I have tried at all times of the day and night. I have watched the clock tick over to 12.01 when the date changes and all of the slots have gone. We are in the over 70’s group. It’s so frustrating. I have often gone on at 11.45 and it makes no difference. I have no problem if the slots have gone to NHS/carers or the high risk people. I am sure there are lots of younger people taking slots that can go to the Supermarket.
