Morning everyone.Glad the wisdom tooth is sorted 1LL - sounds like it's been nasty. Definitely should just take it easy for the rest of the day.Hope you all survived the snow - it was interesting driving to work at 6:30 this morning, and my 9am appointment didn't get to me until nearly 10 - but by the time I was driving home at 1:30 it was just wet, and now it's just windy!!Some of you will know that I started recording my food spending just a year ago, after my husband left - I needed to take control, and to do that I needed to know where the money was going. Here's the result, a year on - https://middleagedfreeandsingle.com/2020/02/22/nerd-alert/I'm quite pleased with myself!! The challenge now is to continue it for another year...Stay warm and dry lovely people.xx

Hello Frugalistas,
Am sitting by the fire & have just had a catch-up with everybody's day. Hope you're taking it easy after that tooth extraction, 1LL. My best friend always says that we tend to forget that tooth extractions are minor surgery & we need to be a bit gentle on ourselves afterwards.
Anyway..... my frugal behaviour for the coming week needs to include:
*Another meal plan based heavily on freezer use-ups.
"Make some progress with the garden.... am behind because of abysmal weather.
*Shop from home for a little bit of a new look in the bedroom.
*Finish a knitting project (yarn from stash)
*Look at our energy usage..... annoying email received today but I'll save that for my dfw diary as it is likely to turn into a moan.
*Work on March budget, as my Big Budget Day is hoving into view - this Thursday.
*Continue to look at improving upstairs storage without spending money.
*Continue with a big ongoing project which is a hobby-based thing but which is also involving quite a bit of useful decluttering.
*Continue with list of jobs we can do on the house ourselves before the builders start work late summer.
*Shift a few Annoying Jobs. I am sick of seeing the same ones on the list.
Wishing everyone a good week,

Thanks @trailingspouse & @foxgloves, unfortunately my restful afternoon didn't happen as not long after I'd posted on here I had a worrying text which took on a life of its own and meant I needed to get an emergency drs appointment for ds2. (must say the school were fantastic and within 5 minutes of arriving at the gp surgery he was being seen so I can't complain)
So after all this I didn't get anything else done from my list other then making lunches for tomorrow.
My mouth isn't up to having the chicken dinner as planned so I'll save that for tomorrow night and have a tin of tomato soup from the back of the cupboard. The kids asked for beans on toast and dh said he'll sort himself out when he comes home as he told me that I have to sit down and rest!
I'll be back tomorrow and hopefully have a better day.
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Went to work in the snow this morning and drove home in bright sunshine. I'm tired - I wasn't ready to be back but at least it's one day closer to Easter. Not that I should wish for hols bearing in mind how badly the last week went for me.
However, back to work - back into routine.
