Morning folks!
Got my new pan yesterday so I'm quite pleased. It has a 25 year guarantee on it so I bought a non-metal fish slice too so that I don't scratch it. OH has been warned on pain of death not to use any metal utensils in it.
We were both so tired yesterday that we went up to bed at 8.30! And pretty much asleep by 9. I woke up at 6.30 (usual time) but OH is still fast! 12 hours and counting...
Today will mostly consist of pottering about (for me). OH is gigging tonight then he has a wedding show tomorrow and another gig tomorrow night! He'll be shattered this week!
The list:
B/L/D from stores done
Wash towels done and knitwear (not together
) done
Go to Asda to collect shopping done
Make sowing plan for allotment done
Loaf in bm done
Cut down pieces of plastic into manageable size done
Heating not on until required (smart meter budget looking far healthier since new boiler put in) done
Start emptying the utility room ready for decorating done
Poss remove various unused clips on utility wall done
Have a good one all

Hello
Today is definitely a small things kind of day. I have been rushed off my feet the past week and am suffering both mentally and physically. I'm full of cold and really run down and there's still lots of appointments and things coming up. However - on the days where I can, I need to be making sure that I'm keeping the faith.
So today's plans include -
At least 2 loads of washing
change cat litter trays
update budget and set March budget as it was payday yesterday
catch up with bestie
make chicken curry with leftovers from roast dinner
tiny bit of school work
make time for crochet
make sure I relax and sleep if I need to
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening all
Found more fruit in freezer for breakfasts over the next few days - freezers emptying nicely now, or were, until I put in large tubs of tomato soup and sausage casserole!Cleaned bathrooms, tidied round elsewhere (love my long handled dustpan and brush for quick cleans - not as thorough as hoovering, but better than no cleaning!)DD brought both kids round, spent the rest of the morning with the 2 year old attached to me, while trying to do the things the 6 year old wanted me to do with her at the same time
Made a loaf in the BM, which DD and the kids almost demolished. Got another in now, so that OH and I have bread for tomorrowDid a bit in the garden, but not for long as it was sooo cold!Walked dogSold 2 small items on ebayAll food from home, nothing spent

Finally a day off after a full 6 day work week, last 3 without a voice which is complicated when you're teaching. Yesterday my voice started coming back and I only worked half a day, still though today will just be for catching up and a long walk and a longish run and a bath. And a tidy in the garden as green bins are being emptied this week. Jubii first signs of spring.
Yesterday I made a chicken curry from scratch as we both needed a bit of meaty and tasty home cooked meal. Substituted chicken breasts with chicken thigh fillets.
Wen I shopped yesterday I stocked up on store items and lunch stuff, but I need to confirm meal plan for the week and get a bit more vege.
I need to fill in paperwork for a bit of extra work for a place I used to work.
And I sold more revision stuff on FB. Have started a cash emergency stash.
Because of the cold wind I have mostly left my heating on, but have just lowered the thermostat to 18 degrees except around dinner time when we actually sit down.
I think I'll make a roast chicken today as that will pretty much sort us for the week and hopefully I can get a free range chicken. And then a pizza for Tuesday or Thursday. Meal planning sorted.

Morning all
Early start here as we went to a Sunday market as we often do. Didn't find much to sell on, but bought bargainous cheeses, butter and biscuits from one of the regular market stalls. Spent £14 and got 7 packs of different cheeses (some are small, but not all), 4 blocks of butter and 2 large tins of McVities biscuits
Just had a couple of biscuits with my cuppa, just in the interests of quality control, naturally. Hid the other tin away, as they are in date till November. It is only raining intermittently today so far, and I managed to take the dog out between showers. It is sunny at the moment, but very cold. Might try to get out in the garden for a while this afternoon - I gave up after about 20 minutes yesterday as my hands were so cold! Still, 20 minutes is better than nothing, and enough time to get a little bit done.Other than that, I will aim just to tidy up a bit I think, and maybe list some things on ebay. All meals will be from home. I am making pot roast pheasant for dinner tonight, and there is tomato soup left for lunch.Well, the sun came out this afternoon for a while, and for a while, it didn't rain
So I made the most of it, and pegged out a lineful of washing (inspired by Purple Fairy) and it dried
Also spent a couple of hours in the garden, finished sorting out the strawberry plants and swept the patio. It looks much tidier now.Stripped off the bed and changed the linen, hoping for some more drying weather tomorrow!4
