What small DFW things will you do w/c 17/02?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

Morning ziggy!
Thanks for starting us off. I'm working from home today as I had another disturbed night with OH. I managed to get an extra 1.5 hours sleep by working from home! I hope he settles tonight!
Not much mse going on although there may be some calls from the LA re the boiler.
Fun times!

Hi February Forumites,Mornin'. ☕ Thanks for the starter @ziggy2407. Unusually for me I was out of bed early this morning. So I'm sitting in my armchair trying to think of ways to be productive. Not sure if we are going out today but we probably should, going stir crazy indoors. ⛈🌬Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Five:❄ Check online banking. ✅❄ Alarm clock off at the wall during day time. ✅❄ Use pricey cherry teabag twice before discarding. ✅❄ Clear emails. ✅❄ Need to buy another bar of soap, rather than shampoo in a plastic bottle. ✅❄ Got 10% off in Halfords for DW using employer's scheme. Bought a Jump Starter for her car. (Long story.) Cost £75 £67.50 ✅❄ Got 10% off in Clothes shop for DW using employer's scheme. Cost £29 £26.10 ✅❄ Replaced damaged windscreen wiper that I bought 3 weeks ago. 😳 ✅❄ Took car to power-spray-type car wash and paid £1 to cover car in soap with their big brush. Then drove away and let the hail storm wash it off. 😂😂😂 ✅Probably deferring the rest of the list until morrow as I'm very tired after travelling for 2 hours to go shopping.❄ Might start deep cleaning kitchen. ✅Deep cleaned the cutlery with fake-Steradent.❄ Clean fridge. ✅❄ I've been contemplating buying a GoPro for months, need to make a yes or no decision. Not exactly an essential purchase. 🤐❄ May make banana bread.❄ Make some effort towards a belated Valentine's Day.❄ Day 17 of 30 day Free Running Challenge. 30.3km/18.8miles so far.

Hi gang 🖐
I'm enjoying a wee coffee while baby girl sleeps. I've been trying to get her into a bit more of a routine with naps and last week we stayed in most days to see if it helped (going to bed for each nap etc) but, I'll be honest, I was in a foul mood by the end of the week. We went out on Friday and felt so much better for it. I'm trying to take it in my stride a bit more and not get so bothered if it doesn't quite go to plan. I also feel like I was putting a bit of pressure on myself to get things done around the house when she was sleeping, but then if she didn't settle I felt myself getting annoyed that I'd not managed to do x and y. Silly really... So today, the house is a tip as my pal was here yesterday and we've not tidied up after Sunday dinner, but I think I'm just going to sit here enjoying my coffee and having some screen time...
@allydowd - thanks for the links about surveys - I'm going to have a browse...👍
@carrielovesfanta - Hope things are ok for your OH and you get some extra sleep too😴
@tootoo - welcome - hope you enjoy it here 😎
So, today:
🌈Got out of the house! 🤗
🌈Using reusable stuff as per - cup when out and about, water bottle, nappies, wipes, face cloths not cotton pads
🌈Took something back before the magic 28 day cut off period... 🤑
🌈Look into surveys that I could do 🤑
🌈See if there's anything I can make to sell - knitting, crocheting, crafting wise 🤔 I found that hand-knitted baby cardis don't really sell well on FB marketplace but might try ebay... 🤷♀️
🌈Need to do a flexible working hours form for work - never seem to get round to this but want it sorting 💸 (not really DFW considering our impending 20% pay cut... 😱)
🌈Sorted YNAB - all ticketyboo🤗
Does anyone want a referral for YNAB? You'd get 34 days free (standard) and then we both get a month free for the referral 😊https://ynab.com/referral/?ref=qa9jLJ9D8guLF2i0&utm_source=customer_referral
