Another shoddy night and OH asked me to stay at home to deal with the boiler man.

Baileys Babe, you can make rice pudding from any milk, I will be using fat free today, and adding a knob of butter to make it a bit richer. The main thing is to get the balance of rice / milk right.Ally, I often make banana cake / bread with frozen bananas, so it should turn out fineCLF hope you get the boiler sorted, still remember the saga with ours just before Christmas!6

PurpleFairy26 said:@La_escocesa - it was me who used your link. I’ve tried before but didn’t get on with it and am happy with my current method for major budgets and things but would like something for day to day spending as there are some changes afoot here I need to keep on top of. So decided to give it a whirl. Thank you for posting and prompting me to think differently.There is currently a good deal in F&B on gr0upon if your interested which maybe cheaper than 241 mains.
I hope it works out for you and you enjoy having a wee play with it at least.
Oooh, I'll need to check out the group on thing - thanks😘4 -
Thank you, everyone, regarding rice pudding, I will make a note of your hints & tips. I was rooting round in the cupboard to see if I had suitable ingredients to make some tonight, then I remembered we were having prawn risotto for dinner, wouldn't have been a great combination, so decided to delay the rice pudding probably until the weekend.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

BaileysBabe - Rice pudding pretty much works with any milk. I've made it with a carton of hazelnut milk I was sent to test for a survey, which I didn't like at all, but made a decent rice pudding. I've also subbed in leftover evaporated milk as part of the milk content. You can't really go wrong with them.

Morning guys
It's taken me an age to catch up! I'm not sure where my previous posts have gone this week as I swear I posted them!
So I returned to work this week after almost 6 months offnot sure how I feel about it and only time will tell but these 2 days were ok. I've reduced my hours and also at the moment I'm on half days (but being paid f/t
) I'm now off for a week before my next shift
Be good to get a bit more money this month!
Today:
* frozen some indian takeaway. A group of girlfriends got together for a friend's birthday and had takeaway. There was loads left so I took home a portion
* hang up washing
* TOMM - La E are you still sticking with it? I've managed to rope oh in on days I'm working
* all meals from stores - I could do with going through my freezer doing an inventory & reorganising!
* go through fridge, wipe down and make sure nothing goes to waste!
* would like to go for a run later but will depend on weather. If not I'll do a aerobics video online. CLF what was the online exercise classes you recommended?
* taking dog to groomers
* read newsletter
This evening I will be home alone as oh away and madam is staying at the parentals. In fact I'll be on my own until Sunday evening! First time I've been completely on my own for years! Planning to do some free Portuguese lessons, some sewing and a pamper session reading free book

Hi
Having a visitor stay in my house has made me aware of the selfish territorial behaviour of my two ds. Not so ds last night. I just about made them sleep in the car. One had kindly but under duress given up his bedroom, the other one has just camped out in his room and stayed out of site. Admittedly it is not a big house, but I think we just need more visitors. And it's my house so they will have to deal :-) Am I being unreasonable here?
Have had productive days off. MOT cane through at £100 double of what I hoped for, but important repair made.
Entertainment for the week was to watch 'Parasite' an overwhelming movie, and not exactly a feel good movie. Got tickets for £15 for 3 by going to theatre, it's weird as it used to be cheaper to buy online in C1new0rld!
Ds is now awaiting first UK passport after passing interview yesterday, took place in possibly the ugliest place in the world, and we had to drive to get there. Am doing a lot of driving this holls.
Today is the day where I have no chores to do, will make effort not to spend any money (£1 in account and £2 in pocket) but will get paid later.
So am spending the morning on the couch and was writing a friend who is moving to north Spain so will start to save up for a ticket for some time next year to go and visit.
Have checked budget and AM about £15 up until payday.
Cook from freezer
Bake bread
Go to skip and CS
FB some books
Go for a free run ( have missed all club runs this week).
Take salt bath for skin problem
Walk dog
Drink tea and look out of the window
Have a lovely day but put gloves and a hat on!
