Hi everyone 🖐
So much for me sitting down with a coffee in the afternoons... my beloved coffee machine has broken 😱 ...So I decided to wait until tonight and sit down with a glass of wine instead! 😂 Is it the weekend yet?! 😂 My coffee machine is over 6 years old so I guess that is its lifespan... 😢
Good tip on the cinema vouchers @allydowd I also just noticed I can do the same for 2-4-1 meals at the Frankie and Benny's near me so might go there one Sunday.
Oooh, I got excited because someone used my referral link for YNAB 😁 I hope you love it as much as me 😁 I am a total YNAB geek 🤣
What else...
🌈Got out of the house for a wee class I'd already paid for - £5 including free parking, a coffee, biscuits and rice cakes for the LO 😎
🌈Using up leftovers
🌈Moved savings temporarily into my current a/c so it looks like I'm still being paid/can keep current bank deal
🌈Early night planned - OH is working away so I'm catching up on bits of TV and reading my book
🌈Free kindle book - so easy to get books with Prime membership so I never buy any anymore
Arghh... I lost my post because I pressed 'Debt Free Wannabe' below when I meant to press the 'Preview' button...
Right, I'm off to top up this wine glass - night all!7 -
Betharooni said:Hi guys
Back again if you’ll have me.
Last week ended up rubbish-have had really severe migraine attack since last Thursday so been off sick from work. Therefore I’m planning on taking it fairly easy and not putting too much pressure on myself. So plans are:- Write out budget for March and sort out any manual transfers I’ll need to do
- Continue revising for Synoptic exam on 6/3/2020
- Rewrite and update general to do list
- Start listing and prepping items for boot fair
- Update spending tracker spreadsheet
- Check receipts off statement and shred
- Go through old paperwork in concertina folder and put unwanted/unneeded paperwork for shredding
B xHi
Have done a couple of the jobs I wanted to do this week-sorted out unneeded paperwork and put in recycling and shredding and checked receipts off statement so that cleared some emails and some more paperwork.
Am going to start redoing my to do list this evening and would like to spend time tomorrow sorting things out for boot fair.

Morning allDidn't post yesterday, as I felt tired and a bit low, got drenched twice, had to babysit and was wiped out after all that, so I lit the stove, made myself a reasonably healthy dinner and curled up with the dog in front of rubbish TV afterwards. Must have done the trick as I am raring to go this morningToday's plans:Toast and HM marmalade for breakfast as I need to use up breadPut a sun dried tomato and pesto loaf in the BM. No idea if this will work, but don't see why not. And it will use up ingredients from the fridge. Hoping to have a slice with some goat's cheese for lunch.Got various bits out of freezer to use upFold up washing on the airer and text my brother to come and get itAnother load of washing, which, looking at the sky outside, will also go on the airerTidy up, sort recycling and compost bucket etcSee if I can find the screw on knob for the back door bolt, as one of the GCs seems to have dismantled itWalk dogWalk to Lidls to do a bit of shoppingHoping not to get wet today!Dinner will be cold meat, jacket potato and salad. Will put a rice pudding in the oven, as I have loads of milk and OH is due back todayHope you all have a great day8

Dawn - Nothing quite like a home made rice pudding on a cold damp day..... Mr F insists on 'red jam' with his, though has recently conceded that 'purple jam' is also acceptable!

Hey folks.
Another shoddy night and OH asked me to stay at home to deal with the boiler man.

I must confess I have never made rice pudding, no idea why as I love it, with either jam, red or purple, or lots of grated nutmeg, yummy.
Is it possible to make it with UHT milk, I have some that needs using?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Rice pudding is a favourite in our house too. No reason why it wouldn’t work with UHT @Baileys_Babe. Almond milk make lovely rice pudding too, creamy without quite as many calories.@La_escocesa - it was me who used your link. I’ve tried before but didn’t get on with it and am happy with my current method for major budgets and things but would like something for day to day spending as there are some changes afoot here I need to keep on top of. So decided to give it a whirl. Thank you for posting and prompting me to think differently. There is currently a good deal in F&B on gr0upon if your interested which maybe cheaper than 241 mains. My list for today:
washing out on airer, more away.
check banking
work some more on YN AB
use ups for food and meal plan. YS burgers for tea 😃
Get some ‘new to them’ clothes out for the children and pack some smaller ones away to sell/gift/charity shop
Continue focus on lights off and sockets off when not needed to keep electricity bill down
out somewhere this afternoon, not sure where but some fresh air included!Have a good day all purps.6 -
As it is half term some of the groups and activities children usually attend are cancelled this week or the times have changed, yesterday's was twice as long & ds was fed 😊. Today's are both cancelled, which is probably for the best as dd is still asleep, which is very unusual. I will wake her at 10:30 if she hasn't got herself up.
Plans today:
NSD
Check spends diary and make sure I have recorded all this weeks spends
Pmp etc
Read weekly email
Dry washing on the airer
Use dehumidifier in the room with the drying laundry
All food and drink from stores
Keep freezer inventory up to date
Home educate children for free
Check bank accounts
RM survey
Enjoy pain au chocolat with our cuppa this afternoon, a midweek treat - I bought them with the weekly shop earlier this week, we will warm them in the combi
Run dw on an eco wash
Run wm overnightFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
