Here we are again, another cold one, it's becoming the norm around here.

A big thanks to Fife council workers for giving me 2 brand new lamposts after I reported holes and rust on the old ones, I did it myself from my own email address (same as my name) and I think they took more notice than if Dad had done it from his as the work was done a lot quicker than normal.
I lost Dad for part of the day yesterday as he went out to buy a new tablet just so that he could start using the Lidl app, his old one is only about 6 years old but it would not update enough to be able to download some apps, including the Lidl one :( cost him £50 so the app had better be good.
I also have to thank Dad for getting up at 1am and taking me out to the toilet, no complaints, just put minimum clothes on and shoes then round the block for a mile then giving me a treat before climbing back into bed, I really don't deserve him sometimes.
    Take Care.

Morning.  It’s very foggy here this morning.  Duncan it sounds brrr your way.  Winter is supposed to hit us this weekend.  Great you have two new lampposts well done you.  Councils are a rule unto themselves. If your Dad had used his email it might have taken years.  Well done Duncan’s Dad on buying a new Tablet.   Hope the apps are useful.   By coincidence I had an email from Iceland yesterday with a good offer for online shopping.  In my endeavour to stock up well I put in a big order.   Duncan your Dad is wonderful getting up at 1am and let the cold air in and even taking you out.  That deserves lots of snuggles.😍

Yesterday DD2 had her two home as a child they had been with had a cough but fortunately the mother was able to get a test and result quickly and it was negative so they can go back to school today.  It’s strange times we are in.   We are going to be in tier two but as we only go out for walks, when we manage that, and don’t see anyone it won’t make a lot of difference.  DS is in Kent and they now are in tier three but as we made a bubble with him we could see him.  Let’s hope the vaccines work and we can all get on.   I had messages yesterday with SIL in LA.  She was by herself for Thanksgiving but was fine.  She goes out for a walk really early in the morning but says there are already lots of people out.  They have a curfew at night in her area but people aren’t taking care and the hospitals are full.   She’s saying she is coming to visit next year.

    Take care all.

Morning, sorry to hear your daughter is thinking of changing jobs sheils but I understand where she is coming from. Always being short of staff is no joke and her job is somewhere you need more staff not less.
Well done on getting new lamposts Duncan, your dad is a goodun , getting up and taking you for a walk at that time of the morning.I hope his new tablet lets him download all the apps he needs now.
We are in tier 2 as well leanfun which means the Odeon can open again on the 2nd December so DS is just waiting to see if it's only going to be weekends until the kids are on holiday again then open every day.
It's freezing here today,i have been for a blood test and was lucky as DS needed one and was able to get his booked an hour later so we went together which saved me a trip. He has a scan this afternoon at a different hospital so at least it gets the visits over in 1 day, lol.
Hope you have a good day
    Stay safe.

    Good Afternoon :)
We won 25p on the first use of the Lidl app so it's a start towards the cost of the tablet
All these different tiers in different parts of the country, which one is the naughty step?
Having lived alone for most of his life, Dad doesn't see the need for gatherings and group hugs, everyone should just stay at home for a month and get rid of this virus, if you don't meet people then you can't spread it around, simple.
    Take Care.

Glad everyone is coping ok. Looks like cases are coming down in most places, it is never ending. We have a figure of 26 per 100,000 which is reassuring but it doesnt take much to get the rates soaring. TBH I see people going into each others houses all the time but when no-one knows anyone that has the virus it will happen. Our region is really big with a sparse population apart from 2 largish towns.
At least Xmas is sorted out and all the family will be able to come even within our stricter Scottish rules. Last year no-one could come as they were all working! DS1 obviously can't come from Sydney.
I won £5 from Quidco last week which I think is my first win this year but then I havent been entering much.
Ordered a Panasonic Smart TV today. DH and I are saying that is our Xmas present to each other. Also booked a few caravan breaks for next year as there was 25% off them in a Black Friday offer. They are for later in next year so hopefully we will get them.
Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

    Good Morning.
The rain has returned here in Fife but it does mean warmer temps with it, 7 degrees here already. It does mean that the park is still out of bounds though, we tried it yesterday but dad was visibly sinking as I was sniffing about for a mouse.
A question for you fashion junkies out there, why can't Dad get a decent waterproof coat that actually goes down past his bum rather than just halfway down? ladies coats go down to mid thigh.
    Take Care.

Morning.   Pleased it’s a bit warmer for you Duncan even though it means rain and you can’t go out in the rain.  It’s a bit of a conundrum about the length of coats for men.  You would think they would be some about that are longer for men.
Agree if you don’t meet people you can’t spread it around.  Your virus rates are thankfully low Sheils.  It was like that at the beginning where DS is in Kent but now they have a lot of cases 309 per 100,000 and that’s not in the highest area for Kent.   Here it’s 91.6 per 100,000 for the last week.   We are densely populated and virus cases at the beginning were very high.  DD1 lives half an hours drive from us and a child in her son’s bubble at school has tested positive last week. Fortunately he was not in school before he showed symptoms and they had an in service training day then the weekend.  So GS has not had to quarantine.  Him being at home in the first lockdown with her working from home was terrible as she is by herself and we could not help.  Let’s hope the vaccine’s will work.
It’s the end of the month already.  Well done on the Quidco win Sheils.  We need the comping fairy to drop by.
    Take care all.

Duncan I’ve just looked at a company I’ve bought from and you are right it’s discrimination.  The women have more longer and cheaper jackets than the men.

@leanfun30 Trespass is the same, we have a shop in town and Dad asked the manager what the story was but she had no answer, it's the same with jumpers/pullovers, men's have the sleeve longer than the body and women's are longer in the body than the sleeve and that is in any shop.
The rain never stops us going out (mostly), Dad has his waterproofs and I have my towels waiting for me at home, I am getting quite good at drying myself ;)
