Hello,

Not sure where to post this.
I have only started doing competitions this month and have been extremely lucky to have won a prize already but am unable to post it on "Won, Won, Won".
Is this because I am new?
Also how to I add this prize to the bottom of my profile please.

@Vic2023 To post your win details on I won I Won I Won, you need to start a thread on that board (your 3 posts so far have all been "Reply" posts on existing threads)
You need to go on to the I Won x 3 sub-board and then click on red box labelled "Create Post" which is at the top left corner of the board. . You then need to enter a Title for your thread, then add the details. Make sure everything in the post is correct (as a newbie you will not yet have access to Edit if something is wrong) then click Post Comment.

By "adding the prize to my Profile" I assume you mean how do you add a signature comment at the bottom of your posts. To do this, click on the Profile button at top right and then select Edit Profile. Then select Signature Settings from the list on the left hand side of the page, then add your wording in the dialogue box and click Save.

Good luck with your comping, you've made a good start by winning so quickly. Well done.
 
P.S. (General chat and any questions should be done by replying to posts or adding threads directly on the Compers Chat Corner sub-board rather than adding a post on a random thread).

In I Won; there is no " red create post"

In my profile when I try it says:

• You don't have permission to use a signature..

Also I tried to add a link yesterday and it told me that I was too new.

I will look again next week.

Sorry I could not see anywhere to add a new thread anywhere on the "compers chat corner" as again no red create box seen.

This also apples to Editing posts and I have just found, also to posting Signatures, see: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6414267/editing-forum-signature#latest

It does seem that the ability to do these things comes after a mixture of time and posts but MSE keep the precise details secret. It does seem to usually be 20 plus posts before access is granted.

However, I am sure that the same thing does not apply to creating threads and I frequently see new users starting threads even with their first post. Every page should have a Create Post button at the top left immediately under the MSE Forum heading. This button is actually mis-named and should be titled Create Thread as it is specifically for making a thread starter post. If you scroll to the top of the page you are now on, do you not see the Create Post button with white lettering on a red background?
