Ho no Duncan.  Thing are going from bad to worse.  The only good thing is that Dad has an appointment for Wednesday.   I hope this is followed up by some actual treatment really soon.   Do hope he manages to eat something.  Thinking of you both.

Oh, dear Duncan, your dad isn't having a good time at the moment is he. Glad he got into seeing the dentist, I hope he doesn't have to wait long for them to be repaired. Hope your dad takes it easy after the Crohn's flare-up. I know it takes a lot out of my son when he has a flare-up and he is tired all the time. Glad to hear the driver slowed down when he saw the Doe, it would put a smile on my face if I saw one as well. I wish drivers would slow down when they drive through the New Forest, there are always reports of speeding cars killing the horses and ponies.
It must have been lovely to see your friend's daughter leanfun. How nice of her to see you when she sees her aunt.
I am looking forward to having tomorrow off, and not rushing around trying to get things done before work,
I hope you have all had a good day

    Good Morning

Thanks both, you don't hear the half of what he goes through, I only give you the highlights and leave out all the boring stuff about his toenails and shins and other stuff, Dad is a walking advert for what is missing from the normal health service just now, face to face treatment.

Heavy showers yesterday but we got our timing right and missed them all but I did manage to roll in the wet grass just to keep Dad busy with the towel when we got home.
Nothing planned for today and with the dentist tomorrow it should be a quiet couple of days (Dad hopes)

Morning, thanks for leaving out the toenails Duncan, lol. Let's hope your weather is better today.
I was taking DS's GF for her 2nd jab later today, then got a text from my surgery telling me to book mine so have booked mine just before hers so that's good as gets them over and done with. Just waiting for DS to get the call but think it will be a couple of weeks away yet. The weather is sunny at the moment but heavy showers forecast for later on so not trusting putting the washing out.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning.  Indie hope you and your DS’s GF have had no side effects from vaccine.  Great that you have had them.  Hope you have a few restful days.  This weather is not but a bit warmer here. The We were lucky last year.
Duncan pleased your Dad I’d not go into too much detail but it shows that what might appear as a minor treatment if not undertaken can become something much worse.  We are all hopeful are lives might return to some form of normality soon.  Hope Dad is recovering from his Crohn’s flare up and the dentist offer some treatment this time.

    Take care.

PS.    I’ve had a surprise Instagram win of some tea and biscuits.

    Good Morning

Another win leanfun, wish you would send some of your luck out to the rest of us, well done though :)
Dad is now booked in for 5 appointments, he is to get a denture fitted so it will be regular trips to the dentist from the end of June until the end of October, at least the agony will be spread out.
Some really heavy showers yesterday but we got the timing right and missed them all, heavy rain and high wind is forecast for here this afternoon so I doubt if we will be able to miss it all this time.

Evening, at least now your dad knows his appointment dates Duncan so can arrange things around them. Well done on getting the timing right and missing the showers.
Well done on the win leanfun, tea is always good and biscuits to dunk in it, lol
We have had horrible weather the last 36 hours, showers, and gale-force winds. DS's GF and I went shopping earlier and after getting out of the car, laden down with shopping the wind blew us up the road, lol. We couldn't stop laughing it was so funny.I took her for one of her scans today and she was told the lump on her neck is nothing horrible (they took a biopsy as well whilst there) they said she can leave it or have it taken away so she is having it removed whenever they can fit her in.
I had no side effects from my 2nd jab so was pleased about that.
I had a surprise in the post today a Yukult grow your own Japanese vegetable seed pack and a booklet with recipes in. I am off till Sunday now so just trying to catch up with washing, shopping, and housework.
Hope you all have a good weekend

    Good Morning
Well done on the seeds win indie, we saw that comp but never entered it, Dad is not much of a veg eater so....
After yesterday which was a 4 towel day  and 2 local trees blown down, this morning is dry and bright and I have already found 2 footballs :) though one of them did get Dad's shoe covered in mud as I dragged him round the bush to get it.
Shopping by car today so I will need to wait for my next walk.
    Take Care.

Just lost post.... here goes again.  Duncan great your Dad has definite appointments and hopefully all will be put right and he will be able to eat properly again.   Dad saying he was not for veggies reminded me of eldest GS.     He’s 12 now but as a seven year old used to say he was vegetarian but didn’t like veg.   We eat a lot of veg here.  This week in odd box we have some purple broccoli it looks more like asparagus or kale than broccoli.  Will try it tonight.   The one thing I’m really allergic to is tea!    So the tea and biscuits are going to a friend.  Coffee here.  I know why do I go in for these comp?
Duncan your weather sounds much worse than here mind you we have not been out wind was really blowing. And lots of rain.  Indie shouldn’t have but smiled at you two being blown up the road.   So pleased the results from hospital were so good and lump is not a problem what a relief for you all.  Hope you have a rest today.  Well done on the seeds and book sounds interesting,
Tomorrow we are picking GS up from a football party and looking after him while DD1 goes out.  DS phoned yesterday to say his vaccination appointments had been cancelled and he had to phone 119 for new ones.  They have given him appointments for tomorrow morning in another town. So it’s Sunday service no buses till later and two trains.  Station is a couple of miles away.   You can only get local appointments through GP and weeks ago they weren’t at his age and said they would phone him and they haven’t.  We hope to drive down to see him soon.

    Take care.

    Afternoon
Charlie is sulking as we gave him a fur cut and nail trim. I told him some people pay a lot for that in a salon and love pampering but it didn't work, lol. Our wind has stopped thank goodness. It has brought one of my bushes half down but I will sort that later.
You are naughty Duncan, dragging your dad through the mud. I hope the ball was worth it, and you didn't pop it, lol
You will have to let us know what the purple broccoli tastes like leanfun as we haven't had it here. How nice you can have your GK's over again, hope he doesn't wear you out too much as it's getting used to it all again. Shame your DS had his appointment cancelled, You get all prepared for it and then let down. Hope it goes well tomorrow for him.
    Have a good day
