Well done on the cross stitch kit. Lovely surprise. I hope the weather stays ok so your daughter can play tennis and you can see your GS for an hour or so.
I was working yesterday, it was busy but not manic which was nice. I am not working tomorrow, nothing has come in yet but it still may do.
The weather has been cold and wet here today. Typical bank holiday weather.lol.
Hope your all having a good weekend

    Good Morning

Another win leanfun? you must enter lots of comps, well done though and good that you have a nice home for it to go to.

The pain from the second jab spot overtook all of the other pains at just after midnight, I could hear Dad scream out as he turned over, just waiting for any other side effects to kick in and his day will be complete.

Not much happening today otherwise, just waiting for the promised rain to arrive after a clear, frosty start.

    Take Care

Another cold day here, we have had a few light showers earlier. I can relate to your dad's pain from the jab spot Duncan. I was the same with my arm that was after my first one. Still have my 2nd one to come.

Obi had a shock this morning, DS's GF runs a bath (luckily it wasn't very hot) he runs in the bathroom jumped in the bath then jumped out again. shot downstairs and wouldn't let us near him to dry him. He licked himself dry. I must say he is nice and fluffy now, lol. I don't think he will do that again in a hurry. I have had a lazy day so far, went to shops to pick up a few bits and just pottered around.
Hope you all had a good day

    Afternoon.

We have been very lucky today.  No rain so far but windy.   DD1 came with GS and have been gone about half an hour.   I took GS up to the park.  Fortunately they have put some goal posts up again so he was  practicing shooting but boy was it windy.    Felt a bit sad that for the first time there were lots of plastic bottles lying around in the grass.   We came back and DD1 was back from her tennis and we had some lunch in the garden.  Looks like rain now.

Duncan hope your Dad is ok and not had too many side effects.   Know how bad the arm ache can be had that with first jab too.  Fortunately with second I only had a couple of bouts of tiredness over the first days.
Thanks re win.  Yes, I do enter quite a lot of comps but only for those I can find a home for.

Indie really smiled at Obi’s unexpected bath.  Great water was not too hot.  Pleased you are having a restful day.

    Good? Morning.

Not so good for Dad, he did not sleep well with the pain in his arm from the injection and it looks like our walking will be limited today for that reason.

We got a 4-way USB hub for all the extras that we use on the puter and it worked for all of 1 day before the mouse vanished from the screen, Dad has been fiddling with it this morning and it worked again for an hour but has stopped again, the light is still on it's just that the hub will not do what we bought it to do so it will have to go back to Argos and that will be fun as we used 3 different vouchers to buy it.

    Have fun.

Morning.   Another cold windy day here.  We were so lucky yesterday morning that it was a bit better.
Duncan sorry to hear your Dad had a bad night with his arm. Hope you take care and don’t pull too much when you are out on your walks.    Sorry to hear the new USB stopped working.  That’s annoying.

Hi Firefly thanks re win.   When there were less people and more comps and you were doing more and you had a win I used to think if Firefly has a win I might have one too and as sure as anything I would have a win too.    Only yesterday DD1 was talking about some play GS went to with ticket win.  I was lucky with tickets the GKs and us went to shows that years ago we would never have been able to afford.    Happy memories.  Good luck to you too FireFly.

Here I felt exhausted from the trip to the park with GS but it was worth it.  DH and I need to build up our strength again.
    Take care all.

I spoke too soon yesterday, the rain started at 5 and then the wind. It was so windy it blew one of my rose plants over. Luckily it wasn't uprooted so I just put a stake near it and stood it up again. The rain has stopped for now but the wind is still blowing although not as strong as yesterday.
Hope your dad manages to change the usb hub Duncan, I am sure your dad will get you out for your walks today, just remember to not pull so much.
Glad you enjoyed your outing to the park leanfun, it shouldn't take long to build up your strength again as will be able to get out more with summer on the way.
I am off to the chemist soon to pick up meds for us, DS was going to get them on Saturday when I was at work but didn't realize the chemist shuts at 1 on Saturdays so missed getting them. Luckily we had some to tide us over.
Hope you all have a good day

Hi all I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I was hoping for a little bit of help, if possible. I can't work how to show I've already entered a competition. I've found x and tick box on some but can't find it on regular competitions such as magazines etc is anyone able to explain this to me.  Many thanks

    Good Morning

That's a good question Genie, I enter so few of them that I just rely on memory, some that I do want to enter every day I bookmark then I just run through the list from top to bottom.

Nothing planned today so I just need to pursuade Dad to take me with him when he goes back to Argos with that darn hub and we might get a walk down at Kirkcaldy rather than here at home.

Indie, Dad is always a week ahead when he orders a repeat script so that he has plenty to spare if delivery or collection is delayed.

    Have Fun
