Since being forced onto this horrible new format I now have posts overlapping making it very hard to read. Is this a know issue with a fix / is there some settings I need to change?

On a positive note, I see that when a thread is removed (e.g. for spamming) it is also removed from the front page.
On a negative note, it just leaves a blank on the front page now for that board, rather than reverting to the last authorised thread. As there doesn't seem any way to delete one's own posts now, it's not possible to discretely bump another thread to correct the front page.

Tine's update was only 4 days ago and commented within this thread as recently as 3 days ago. That was approximately half way in this now 93 page discussion. They've already expressed the exhaustive hours put in last week, and I truly hope the teams involved have been getting plenty of rest. Just because folks have not been giving daily updates on this does in no way reflect that nothing is being done about it. The tone is this discussion must be a difficult read. There are good and bad elements to this migration, and it's clear that MSE will do what they can in resolving major problems we have transparently shared. Many of these are being fixed, silently, before our eyes. I urge fellow forumites to observe patience, respect, and dignity through this process. It's a stressful period of change for us all. This passion shows how much this community means to us. silvercar said:Can we have back the ability to search within the sub board I am looking at, rather than having to use the advanced search?
Sub question - I used to type
before a part of a post that i had copied and
after it, just to put that bit in a quote bubble. How do I do that now?
sub sub question - can we have the ability to choose whether to include our signature on each and every post back please.2 -
For anyone having "DISPLAY ISSUES" or difficulty reading their screen or hate the format with "BLANK COLUMN(S)"
AND are on a LAPTOP / DESKTOP ....
... Have you tried ZOOMing in to 110% ???
That's CTRL and + (Plus sign to increase / CTRL and - MINUS sign to decrease)
or via the 3 Horizontal Bars top right corner (for CHROME at least) and use the ZOOM controls
The right column "collapses" and the items found at the top of it move to the bottom of the page
TRY IT - I think it's far betterThere are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

@monsieur_epargnant Well said, they are indeed working non-stop to adapt this new platform to meet MSEs many and various needs, but some of the functions we are used to simply do not exist here - yet, it all takes TIME. BGs (who are all unpaid volunteers) are reading ALL the posts and passing on anything new to the team. @fannyadams try heading to PROFILE >> Edit profile >> Notification preferences https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile/preferences/fannyadamsYou might see that "Notify me when people comment on discussions I've participated in." needs unchecking?
