The reloading and "repeated error" only happens on forum home, for me in iPad portrait. Was just browsing competition boards portrait just fine. Clicked forum home and error.
  • Opera browser not working properly again.

It was fine after the change, then went funny again, then was fixed yesterday, now funny again!!

I've used your RSS feeds for years but they have stopped working following this update. I did report it and was told to try putting /feed.rss at the end of the page url, but that has not worked.
    Waddle you do eh?

I don't recall this functionality loss mentioned in the pages I've read (and I've tried to read most).
Reporting a discussion to GAME OVER in Competitions Time - when comps finish earlier than expected etc.
At least in my head it makes sense to also report a MERGE REQUEST (for reporting duplications) in addition to game over via the same REPORT button. Forums like Reddit tend to have the one report button unveil most of any sub/category's unique options. The alternative is to add forum modules performing individual functionality but swamping the UI with buttons perhaps only performing one super niche function.

The ability to put your subscribed threads into folders has gone, very useful for certain common themes to quote those threads, now it's all mashed into one bookmark

I can't reset anything because I don't have the original e-mail address I used years ago.
Now I've had to start from scratch with everything. Thanks for that MSE!
Theyve been warning you about this for about 2 months now. Their was a really annoying pop up that was thre verytime you logged in.
In future, it will be more fruitful for you to remember your passwords than it will blaiming a company for warning you what was about to happen and you not acting on that warning.

Almost forgot mine so almost lost this account :) kept forgetting to come and update the e-mail address but appears I'd done it a while ago anyway.
  • Something which we rely on over on DFW is the ability to use different coloured text - for example for commenting on SOAs - having that back would be very useful indeed. I see that the different colours are now showing in signatures so presumably the tech is there, Just not enabled for posting currently.

    NOTIFICATIONS - DELETE OLD?

I've got Notifications set how I want, it's working well and I like it.
Please can we have a way to delete old Notifications?

At the moment, the competition forum is sorted by the time/date of the most recent comment on each post.  Is it possible to sort it by the time/date of the actual post, not the comments, please?

It will bring up the Comps main board in order of thread start date/time with the newest at the top. I gather that a "sort" function is being worked on so that you can sort whichever way you want.

Hate the look out, the colour scheme is harsher on the eyes, the old colour scheme or something more neutral would be better

Did i mention you can't put your bookmarks/subscriptions into folders like previous

Why changes? Are you trying to reduce your overheads? the user experience is also something to think about
This makes life very difficult. I used to have one folder for daily entry competitions, another for comps I've won, another for Advents (obviously not needed at the moment) etc. Now all my bookmarks are lumped together and this is useless for entering daily comps, as it would mean going through every saved thread.

Together with the other issues, comping now feels like hard work instead of fun.
Use your browsers Bookmarks. Create the same named folders and save links to the threads in them. Check them daily
