I am so happy for your escape, you will have bad days but nowhere near as many as you used to have (which I think was everyday .....) this has turned into a wonderful thread, I am so glad I have seen your happy outcome...

You know what the biggest revalation is?
Not only can I wear clothes that fit but nothing happens. 
I don't look like a !!!!!! and it doesn't attract unwanted attention

I checked my messages
3 calls in quick succession, they were the police calling bout an incident 
Called them today
They don't need to speak to me and can't tell me what happened 
Have reported the dv 
Have an appointment on Tuesday

Stop responding to texts from anyone connected to him Mel. . He's history and you're just prolonging the agony until things are finally sorted.

Reading texts, messages etc is like picking at an old wound and not good for your mental health. by reading you are giving others power over you.

Glad you've reported the DV. .

 Block anyone from your phone or internet contact from contacting you to add to the abuse.

I haven't responded Pol. 

The 3 calls were the police trying to get hold of me. I now only answer if I know the number. 
I'm doubting myself, back to thinking I'm over reacting and it wasn't that bad.

And where has his sister been, all the time you have been having to deal with all his !!!!!! about hospitals/doctors/etc?   Just block her!  (He's probably told her that you had the dogs put down!)
