    Well that explains why after writing a long reply I kept getting invalid thread when I tried to post. All the years you've had the thread and this happens.

    Did you get an explaination from IS when you rang for the mess up? Could be worth going over to the benefits board to see if they can make sense of things. Alice is an experienced CAB advisor and a number of the regulars are very helpful.

    It's a seperate issue but have you thought of seeing if there are any grants or other help for starting up a business as self employed that wont impact on means tested benefits. If so it could help with travel etc while things are difficult.

    I'm not suprised you have a migraine it sounds like one of those days. I'm still wondering why your original thread was suddenly invalid. I thought I was doing something wrong but just kept getting invalid thread.

    Maybe it's a new start as you set out as self employed. There were some lovely things on that thread. I can still picture you and your dad on your wedding day. Such a beautiful dress. Lots of furry pictures but also some dreadful times for you;

    Wishing you better times to come and no more stupid people making bad decisions . You seem to get lumbered with some hopeless so called experts.

    I doubt your oh will change now. Too many years of no effective help from services has probably seen to that. Still we'll live in hope. It would make your life much easier.

    Try and get some sleep tonight. you must be exhausted. If only things worked as they should life would be much less stressful. It annoys me people get well paid for making things worse rather than doing the job properly in the first place.
