Hi All
Yep we have to go into self isolation for minimum 12 weeks.
Frey has been making herself sick if I leave her alone at all.
Was offered regular work in London which I have obviously had to put on hold. Possibly have some work in Brum but again looking at a stupidly long self. Isolation.
Have been sensible and chased OHs ESA as. He should be in the none work group and applied for carers as need to up the money as won't be able to earn for a while.
Oh getting worried about food, nothing available and no online deliveries till end of April.1 -
melly, there is probably at least one local scheme offering to deliver food to those in self-isolation. Some are being run through foodbanks, others through local churches, some cafes and small shops are offering help, and in some cases it's just neighbours dropping postcards through local doors.
Look at local FB groups, and google others. Impossible to say how you'll find what you're after because they all have different names (here the local community cafe is probably making the most noise about how to help) and purposes. If you can't find anything, send me a PM and your location and I'll see if I can winkle anything out for you - no promises obvs.Signature removed for peace of mind2 -
We've had a letter, from our council, saying that if we need help with getting the basics to contact them.....does yours do something similar?2

I missed your last post Melly and have just had a quick look to see if you posted. I'm just off to bed and out tomorrow but will be around tomorrow night. Hope you're getting things sorted as much as you can.Look after yourselfpollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Not sure you're reading Melly but I've just seen Turn 2 Us are offering one off crisis grants of £500 to those affected financially by the pandemic who fit eligability criteria.. Depends on your circumstances but maybe worth a look. turn2us.org.uk.Hope all is ok. Take care love.pollyxxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Supermarkets should be prioritising online slots for people like your OH who is likely to be extra vulnerable because of his lungs.
If he's not had a letter you can register him on the gov,UK page, which will then gives you the means to access food parcels etc.

Also contact your local council, or check the website because they are doing second tier schemes, and also setting up local volunteer groups who will do shopping for people. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Thanks all
I have registered with the government
The docs decided that OH is not in the shielding group
I have gone mad.
Struggling if honest0 -
Pretty sure that I will be getting a divorce0

Some relationships are long, some are short - some should be shorter than they actually are. No-one can tell how long a relationship will run - and it is a wise woman who recognises that one has run its course. Good luck with whatever you decide, Melly.6

Sent copies of messages he has sent to people so I don't back out0
