The British Lung Foundation has good guidance of their web site, as to would be in the shielding group. It is broken down by disease and explains what criteria must be hit to be considered “extremely at risk”. Its very clear and i thought it both helpful and reassuring.

Mel, you've posted your name and a link to your instagram feed. Did you mean to do that?

I've been worrying about you Melly so I'm glad to see you back.
If you haven't already done so take a look at the two stickies at the top of this forum.
Free rail travel for those fleeing domestic violence and Free Guide from Refuge. I posted on the latter a few days ago and thorsoak had posted about free rail travel for those fleeing domestic violence. Just noticed she put that info on both threads. Mine was about a safe way to get to speak to agencies in privacy. Worth taking a look hope to catch up later today.
    Take care love

You know you need to leave, well done for acknowledging that.
Now you need to think through the next steps to make that happen.

Is is possible you could find the pets a foster home? That way you can leave to a place of safety knowing the animals will be looked after in the short term, while you sort things out.

Please speak to someone who can talk through options with you

Please also do not hesitate to call the Police should you need them.

Foster homes for pets are a good idea but the current demand is hard to meet due ti the increased demand. Worth a try but is there anyone family ,friends or those you consider family who could help short trem with them?
As I've said before you are allowed to move when abuse is taking place despite the Corona situation.
If either of your brothers or a friend could take you in until you can get emergency accomadation via the help agencies it would be easier to sort things. Temporary help wont go against your chance of getting emergency housing whether hostel or similar.
The important thing you need to understand Melly is if the punch in the face happens he's crossed a red line and will find it a lot easier to physically attack you in the future. My toxic ex used to I'd asked for it! No I didn't but the abuser can have a very warped view of things.
I'd have been out of the house with the children and running but as I was living in this house when I married him. My name was the only one on the mortgage and bills and he never coughed up a penny I had no choice other than sit tight and let the police do their job while my GP documented every black eye , split lip etc. I was actually 3 months pregnant the first time he hit me.
Believe me Melly the sooner you go the better. I worry about you and dread you  no longer posting because none of us will ever know if you got away or are living in hell.
I know you've been in touch with your brothers and probably your friend can none of them help you? Something short term could at least get you out to seek help agencies can point you to.

ETA And yes as posted above if he comes near you call the police. If you can't do that get the hell out and run to your friends and ring them from there. I doubt he could outrun you in his state of health. If he follows in the car  scream as loud as you can. Someone will either intervene or call the police...

I did mean foster home in terms of family/friends and not through a charity
