No problem KxKx. Melly may have got confused as some of us mentioned Dogs Trust etc finding foster homes but they're overwhelmed too and I think when I checked don't offer the service anywhere near Melly.

That's why I asked if family or friends could take the pets while she got sorted.

It's easier to get away without them but he's out of control now and I know she'd never leave them with him even short term. TBH I wouldn't either. Sometimes I wish I had a magic wand and could make everything right. Sadly life aint like that.

Applied for work 
Most importantly have sent vids, messages to my family, some friends and his family to cover me and to force me to leave. 
I needed it validating, I was so worried that I was misreading/deserve it

Whose name is on your tenancy agreement Melly? Joint or one of you? Also joint or seperate bank accounts. If you can't leave yet think about those things as it will be easier to sort things with the right info. If you haven't seen it the DA charities have a lot of info on preparing to leave safely with your belongings. Once you're out you need to take yourself off any bills direct debits etc related to the bungalow informing all why you're doing it. If there's any debt with bills etc they will give you time to repay anything due while you were living there.

I know what you mean about needing it validating. As I've said before abusers mess with peoples heads. No one deserves any abusive behaviour and as for misreading that's another of the tricks . Make you think you're the one at fault . A threatened punch is clear abuse so he can't mess with your head any longer.

Hope you manage to find a job and your brothers find somwhere soon. Don't be too proud to ask for help Melly.

Don't know if you read the posts I mentioned from thorsoak and me. The free train travel may be just what you need. The safe place to contact the help agencies is better than trying to do that from home . Hopefully you  have a Boots pharmacy nearby. Once you make the contact you'll get a lot more info than any of us can give you.

Mel, No one should have to make excuses for being abused.  No shame to go enough is enough and walk away.

I missed your post about your call tomorrow. Just go out to do it . If you need to make an excuse make one. You need privacy to discuss what's happening and the way ahead. No more making excuses Melly all that does is protect an abuser. I'm glad you've let people know stay strong and don't hide or cover things up again. You've done more than enough over the years to protect him now protect yourself. I used to get the idea your oh was a bit of a night owl. Sleeping during the day and up and about at night. Whatever he's doing try to get to bed yourself. You sound exhausted.
