Speaking to brothers and previous housing officer. Still can't actually ever get through to womens aid have emailed them but they are not comfortable with email incase it gets seen I think.

I am not in physical danger, he can't even walk between the kitchen and bathroom so I am low risk.
I am leaving when I can though.
Oh, also got a friend looking for properties.
I need to decide where to go, stay in Midlands have some support network,. Go north have brothers, go somewhere else make new friends.

    Keeping busy

This may be a total overreaction (so forgive me if it is) but have you thought about getting a grab bag ready & hiding it somewhere in like a wardrobe?

so in it put all your important bits of paperwork, change of clothes, any medication you're taking, sentimental stuff (you get the picture) so if you did need to leave in a hurry you could? In addition, have a little notebook & pen in there containing phone numbers of people you could contact in an emergency and any other important numbers.

Also can you open a bank account and keep the card in the bag as well as a little cash - you don't have to transfer money into it now but if you did have to leave in a hurry you wouldn't have to worry about remembering your handbag (if finances allow think about buying a basic mobile phone, charge it & then switch it off keeping that in the bag - that way if you had to use the bag then all you'd need is a SIM card & they can be got easily.)

Don't forget with every little act you empower yourself.

Getting ready no I can see why that would be a good idea.
I have been gardening and painting and lots of things that make no sense if your leaving to keep busy.

Revmped and pushed my site again.
Brain is so numb I can't decide what to do or where to go.

I do not understand what the problem is with getting in touch with the agencies, Melly - I've worked with several of them in the past and they all have in place ways of reaching out to women in need.    Do you tell them that you dont need them?
