MellyI think Archergirl's suggestion of just forwarding all his emails to someone else is good.If he is making threats this will be useful proof. How far away from him are you?Do you have proof - texts, emails - of threats of violence? If you do, I think you need to involve organisations that take those threats seriously.Sorry - I'm not sure which are appropriate or who you've already spoken to.2

I'm not far, but I am safe firstly my mate has known him nearly 40 years so knows all the same people. Secondly it's fob protected so he can't get in.

Oh and I have lots of messages threatening to punch me in the face, kill me etc2

Pass them to the Police and consider applying for a restraining order.
None of those threats are normal or acceptable, if you had a friend whose partner was threatening to kill them what would your advice be?4 -
Just showing his ‘love ‘ for you eh.....I am so glad you have seen the light, happy new life 😘 xx3

Good evidence for legal aid and divorce though so hang onto them after you've reported. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -
I have another call with the solicitor on Tues so can start proceedings
I also legally changed my name so I'm my dad's surname again3 -
It sounds as though your contact with the Solicitor is remote rather than face to face.Have you been able to send him copies of those threatening messages ?It's not clear if you have been reporting the abuse to the police and if they are building up a case.It was a long time ago but all the evidence for the injunction with power of arrest the court ordered came from my GPs photographic evidence and reports. Police submitted all the witness reports from each incident they attended in the home.If your solicitor has seen the messages and recorded them it's worth asking him iff they are enough or you need to keep tracking them.If he has enough evidence you could take screenshots of the ones so far and print them off , Just put them in a safe place until needed, Change your contact numbers and cut off his oxygen.Hope you enjoy Manchester . At least you wont need wet weather gear. It's sunny and way too hot here over on the coast. I'm like a limp lettuce.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
