Hope everything's OK for you:money:. Just keep an eye on it. I have a feeling that if I hadn't of e mailed them they would never have bothered to tell me the stuff was out of stock...I sooooo wanted those MR T bubble baths and the cuff links shaped like a map of the UK:o

I have an order which is now 2 days over the EDD. I phoned today to be told that the money hadn't been taken from my account, it could be a problem with their computer or my card. My card is fine (a little tired but still going lol) so she had to re-enter my card details and the system has thrown up a new delivery date of the 6th so we'll wait and see.... I asked why nobody had contacted me via mail/email/phone to explain what was happening and she said that the current computer system (which is being changed) doesn't throw up cancelled or late orders. They are relying on people chasing. Not great is it?

    Hi,

I've just got back from M&S - shopping old-style. Oddly, I found nearly everything I wanted in store except the British Isle Cufflinks - Got 2 MR T bubblebaths and all the clothes I wanted for my nieces. It was easier to do cos I'd already picked it out on line. In fact I SAVED £5 on my sons PJs and got better ones. AND guess what? - when I got home I realised the cashier hadn't charged for an item worth £13! Do you think that's justice or theft:o:confused:

"Just to let you know we try to make sure we only show items that are available to buy online. Occasionally, when a product is popular or during SALE periods ans special offers, it's possible for a number of customers to order the last item at the same time. We're working on our availablilty systems....blah, blah, blah" M&S Customer Services

An extract from an e mail from M&S. So on 19th November 16 of the 17 items I ordered (trust me they weren't difficult to buy things - I went and bought them in store yesterday) were UNAVAILALE yet showed themselves as available. DO M&S on line actually have any stock?

You may wonder why I care as I obviously don't hate M&S. But I spent at least an hour and a half of my life choosing and buying things THAT DIDN'T EXIST. AND THEN I WAITED for them for 10 days. That's just mad. :o
  • i got an email last night to say my order had been despatched! Hopefully it will all arrive!!

    Well done KKK:j:j:j:j

I went online this morning and was able to put most of the 17 things I ordered into a basket and take them to the checkout and to (virtually) the end of the transaction. The (potential) order said the stuff woud be delived 3rd December. I copied all this and e mailed the person detailing with my complaint because either they are still selling the 16 out of date items or someone messed up. The £15 refund was in my account though. I have now bought nearly everything I ordered in store and am happy with what I've bought. So you see I don't hate M & S....;)
  • Thanks setmefree2 :)

Whilst I agree that in the run up to christmas this might belong in here but I think it should move over to the rants board now :)

I hope you all work out the problems with M&S tho! Have anyone complained to BBC Watchdog? They might be interested?
