I hope you feel better soon Ss. Use some of the vick if you're not already doing so. I find either that or Olbas oil are pretty effective.

It looks as though you need to set up an Xbox free zone. It's a pity your comfy room seems to have been invaded by the little ones. A quiet retreat is needed to give you some peace and rest.

I sincerely hope that you told DS to parent his children today - to feed them (and clean up after them) to restrict their use of the Xbox, and to calm them down and not allow them to get too excited.   He can undo in one day all the hard work you have put into them in the past four weeks.   Also hope that DGD is pulling her weight too.   Hope you get a day's peace - you deserve and need it! x

I'm almost worried to say this, in case I get accused of ganging up. But why is DS with you again when a few days ago he was at his GF's, and because of their symptoms he was going to "isolate" there? 
Nevermind giving it to you possibly (headache and cough?) and all the kids around, he's also gone to your mum's and god knows where else.

If the OP started with a cough yesterday, she should be isolating for 7 days from yesterday and everybody else in the household for 14 days from yesterday.

If you look at another post on 1 april, SS states she sent the boys down to her son, so looks like he didn't last at the girlfriends.

DS spent a week at the GFs under the guise of isolation because the GFs Ex had had the children and called her saying she had to have them back as they were ill, with a temperature etc
so he isolated there but when they were returned they did not have the temperature etc it was his excuse to send them home early, but DS stayed there 7 days. ( yes your telling me 14).
DS has been here since Saturday.
 I was poorly yesterday and had a sore throat and a cough.
funnily enough after a day resting I have a tickle of a cough only if I talk too much, but I am much better.
 I will still be isolating us but I am only doing that because we don't know if it's a normal seasonal cough or not. But considering I am already on the mend it was probably a mixture of hay fever from cutting the lawn and stress exhaustion.
But we are here and not going anywhere,
I have supplies and should cope and my friend can leave things on the door if I ask.
 I do not doubt the gravity of the pandemic and I am not flouting it.
