Do you see the conversations between the girls? My daughter didn't see the conversations until things had spiralled into anorexia .....it was a nightmare three years for all of them - fortunately for them, they are in USA (with a very good medical insurance package) and she was immediately assessed and although she made a little progress in a home-based therapy, she did go into residential treatment for nearly nine months (with two days off for Christmas) . She graduated from High School and went to uni - in San Francisco (nearly 3,000 miles away) and did manage two terms, seeing a Counsellor twice a week - but at the end of the second term she was almost back to the beginning, but she decided that enough was enough and that no-one could help her but herself. She does seem so much better, but we all know that it is still there, lurking in the corner ......
One of the "nice girls" is now sadly in rehab for a drug dependancy - its the pressure that they put on each other in the social media :-(

I dont see all the conversations as obviously I am not in the room with her, but I know both girls and have often heard the conversations. Mostly they are watching the same program on a gadget and talking to each other about it.
If I think she's going to be bullied etc then I would be more concerned but I am as sure as I can be that she's not and is just keeping away from the children and over chilling, but she has started to do work today. After her wee strop we talked, or I talked quietly and calmly and she replied at the right moment so time will tell as to how much she gets done.
The supposed coughs DS's GFs children had were while at their dads and he returned them home, and it was not a serious cough and no temperature etc. But yes I agree that he can't be running around any old place. It is his boys that have a cough that is pretty persistent and us that are isolated. I can't help Mum, Biggest has 4 children to deal with so DS is the only one who can deliver things.
he has not shown any signs of anything in the last 7 days and fingers crossed that nobody does. I have now found a local cafe that is distributing veg bags, and reordered my meat from Musclefoods that I used to use.
so there should be no need for anyone to go shopping for a while.I was going to make some flapjack today, but with all the best will in the world I have no energy to do it.Dgs2 is currently asleep in my bed and Dgs1 is playing pirate ships! My feet are up and if I tilted my head I would probably go to sleep! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
I managed a little sewing today, and made 15 face masks for us. Following an American hospital appeal tutorial with extra ability to add further filters.
If any of us have to go anywhere after the next 6 days are up, then I want some small precaution.
I am tired and I'm already in bed.
tomorrow I need to try to defrost the fridge freezer as it's over iced as someone left it open and now I cannot open the top drawer.
I need to do it before my meat order arrives.
usual wake up with DGs2 except with the clock changes it was a good 7.15am this morning.
put him down at 7.45 so with any luck he will go back to sleep after he wakes until at least 6.15.
Hope everyone is well and safe.

I need to defrost and sort out the big chest freezer in the garage. I've had it for years and doesn't automatically defrost . It has been a good backup over the years though and worth the effort. I must admit the dive in temperature over the last few days has put me off tackling it . However I'll bite the bullet and we can both see the job done and dusted.Sleep well it looks as though dgs may be sorting his sleep pattern slowly, mind you the light nights will be here soon and getting him to go to sleep is another matter then. I remember dgs1 with his early mornig Cockadoodledoo calls.I hope as thorsoak mentioned you didn't feel ganged up on. We have your wellbeing at heart and know how much you want to make things work out for all of you.pollyx.It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

I have just woken ds and handed the boys to him and I am going back to bed.
I have a sore throat and a cough. I also have a headache, so I am going to try to sleep. I have had the boys in with me since 7.15 ( late for them). Dgs2 is still very snotty as we are now some 8 days since we stopped home. His runny nose has been going on longer than that.I am using vicks vapour rub and have a room plug in on in his room. The school dropped me off lunch stuff on Monday, wraps, a couple of yoghurts, pears, a piece of cheese and a tin of tuna. Then they rang yesterday to say that the kitchen was closing and brought me about 10 eggs, 4 oranges, three rolls, 6 slices of bread, two tomatoes and a cucumber.
So we won't starve! Lunches sorted for a few days.
my meat delivery came yesterday afternoon. So I am glad I will have plenty of food to eat for a while.
right I am going to see if I can sleep again. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -

Rest up glad you got some bits from school Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.6 -

apparently I will still receive a care package from the school during the holidays or until the voucher is available.
I haven't been able to sleep, Dgs1 is making too much of a racket playing on Xbox with his Dad.
my eyes want to sleep but my head is still too busy.
I might as well go make a cuppa soup and find my latest sewing magazine to flick through.
thanks for all the information and well wishes.Virtual hugs to everyone who needs it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5
