yes I believe DS has paid for the retest, I certainly haven't.

Life is flying by.
I can't believe it's already 8th March!
I have been lucky to go out to lunch several times with my Mum and Brother, and to be able to juggle my life accordingly.
The sunshine this morning had me out in the garden, and I started on the wood DS left lying about. I have moved it away from the few bulbs that I have in the garden and turned over the area behind the gate while the boys played on the trampoline and slide. I have come in now as it suddenly went dark and started to rain, so that signaled lunchtime.
dgs2 has gone down for a nap. It is a lot later than he usually goes so I must make sure I wake him up so he doesn't sleep too long and not sleep later. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.4 -
We went out for lunch today too. Then for a stroll and ice-cream on the quay. It was lovely when we got out of the car but distinctly chilly when we turned into the wind to come back! It's not difficult!

I had difficulty waking Dgs2 it took him ages, so he was as predicted much later getting settled, it was just after 9 before he finally went to sleep. Dgs1 was asleep before him.
The day on the whole was quite calm, bar a few brotherly spats over toys. I pottered in and out of the house.Dgs2 woke around 1.30 and I swapped out his milk for a very weak juice. He woke again at 5.50am
wasnt going to go back to sleep.
He is sitting in my bed playing with my teddies.Dgs1 has just come in and had a hissy fit because I won't let him have my mobile phone to play roadblox on. He has a few games on an old kindle offered to him but he's not having it.
Well I am not giving in.Just made my cup of tea and I am going to drink it before I get moving.
DS hasn't been home the last two nights so it's been easier for me to get on and do things as I don't have to keep the children quiet while he sleeps.
he is going to the girl friends more and more, however that might change as she starts a new job near here today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.3 -
After much effort I managed to get DGd into school by 8.50 only 10 minutes late.
she really is hard work!
dgs2 is playing quietly now it's just us.
my breakfast time now.

Apologies we are all ok.
I have just been full on busy. I seem to have to be up and running straight away these days.
DS spends a lot of his time with his GF these days and several nights, like last night, so when he is out of the way I have the three kids to get to school so I am as organised as I can be to get us out of the door on time. Actually the routine is easier when he is not here, except for the actual school run. Mind you the last two mornings he has been up a few minutes before the school run and he has helped.
he also actually did a tip run for me yesterday, taking two old office chairs that I have wanted going since September!!DGD is struggling with joint pain again, so I have been sharing my Aloe Vera heat lotion with her. However she is beginning to come home from school in a better and more positive way. If only I could get her up without having to chase her every 15 minutes.
I am doing more makes at the moment, and I am getting my sewing mojo back.
I actually worked until 8.15 Tuesday night, while DS did school collections and cooked the bolognese etc and looked after the family.
I am doing some work for the crazy artist, because he has a famous model coming in two weeks for a photo shoot, so I have been given free reign to design what I want with a stock of his fabrics. I am doing this for me, because it has taken me out of my mundane repairs and allowed me to be creative. At the moment I need to do things that I enjoy rather than about having to work to pay the bills. I will get some funds of course, but it is definitely about my exploring my creativity rather than work for works sake.My brother is back in France now. So I have to fit in taking Mum out and about, as she has realised that her ability to go on holiday on her own, ( flying on her own), is probably over. She is getting too frail. So I want to give her enough days out to keep her enthusiastic and not let her become a couch potato.
she is not sewing as much anymore so I want to try and engage her in some creativity if I can.
The boys are settling in to school/nursery quite well and we are having fewer tantrums, just need to get them to stop trying to anielate each other when playing.
now we are having slightly better weather I am trying to get them out into the garden.
I had the car in the garage to have the spare wheel bracket replaced, £350 lighter today, but at least the tyre is no longer taking up the boot, and I was super lucky that the day before the back pay Social owes me came in, so I didn't have to use my credit card. Bonus.
time to move my achey bones and get moving, two little boys sitting in my bed watching Babyshark on the kindle need breakfast, and I have finished my pot of tea.
ps. Blood tests are all clear, just arthritis in my hands etc, the issues with my elbows are basically repetitive strain injury so doctor suggested elbow supports. When I am sewing I look as if I am going into battle with pressure gloves and elbow pads!! But along with ibuprofen I am coping. So relieved nothing else is underlying. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Good to hear this Ss - routine is a good thing all round.
