SS, I do remember - from a very long time ago (nearly 60 years!) that when I went for a fitting for my wedding dress, the dressmaker put a large sheet on the floor onto which she instructed me to step - and it went on the floor each and every time I had a fitting.7

When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -

I also will make sure that the windows get opened longer in the daytime. Get some fresh air in!

I’m not sure how to say this tactfully, but maybe a refresher on food hygiene/storage etc too?2 -
Ss has two small germ factories in her household now! I daresay that she is getting through lorryloads of soap and bleach at the moment ...... I have nearly 2-year old twins (plus my 2 dogs, 2 cats plus DS and DDiL in my house atm and I know that we most certainly are!

It sounds like there has been Norovirus in the house which is incredibly infectious. Just a few tiny micro particles coughed into the air can infect someone so I don't think SS needs to be made to feel guilty. Small children bring bugs into homes. and sometimes even doing your best can't stop the spread.
Really hoping you all feel better soon.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/27 -
Sitting watching tv when I really should be doing housework.
I have been awake since 5.30, and I was out doing a wedding dress fitting at 9.30 this morning. My bride was supposed to be just fitting the dress we altered, but with 3 weeks to her wedding she brought another dress yesterday, so now I have fitted that one and have to do the alterations asap on that one.
DS has collected the boys and taken them out with him.
so now would be the ideal time to be doing, and all I want to do is sit down and chill.

I'm not surprised that your 'get up and go' has got up and gone, you have had an awful lot to deal with recently! It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
