I am fine now. Just tired. I had my blood tests taken today so if there is anything that is untoward then I hope that it will show, but I am hoping it's just from stress and nothing else.
I had to get a new phone today as one of my grandchildren decided that it was ok to dribble into the phone ( despite its case), and in the time I had nipped to the loo the damage was done and the screen went along with the fingerprint touch ability.Yesterday I was sitting for Biggest during the morning as she was having a job interview.
I have been doing a few sewing jobs but not many. Or as many as I should be doing. I really need to focus. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.4 -
I finally finished another waistcoat for one of my gentlemen, I shall hopefully deliver it today to him, but my car is going into the garage this morning after I have done the school run. The bracket under the car that holds the spare wheel is being replaced. Not cheap but I need the tyre out of the back so I can use the back seats and the boot.
Dgd is not in a good place at the moment, and getting her to school is a constant battle. Yesterday was a very difficult day, and she has also become very rude and cantankerous. I am at my whits end every morning and exasperated by night.
DS sort of helped yesterday while I did my Wednesday babysitting for Biggests little ones. But my kitchen looked like a bomb had gone off when I got home after the babysitting and meeting my friend for our weekly chat over a meal and a drink, unfortunately I didn't go into the kitchen until after he had gone out to his GFs.I am not thrilled because he had planned to stay out, so it means that I will have to face it this morning!
social funds have stopped as they change from Fostering to SGO allowance so I am over £600 down in the income bracket at the moment. So I have stopped the automated payment into the childrens saving pots as I cannot go overdrawn in that account and I am now perilously close to empty. So chasing them for the last week to no avail.
looks like today is going to be a busy and bity day.The boys have been awake for about an hour. So I am all Paw Patroled out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.3 -
Your DS does take the proverbial.I try to not say too much but he definitely hinders you.Hope the council get there act together on the money front.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I second that! xxIt's not difficult!

I know that DS is taking the proverbial.
everything I say goes in one ear and out the other, if it goes in at all.
with him not here I just get on with things.
Dgds foot was bruised and slightly swollen today so back to the doctors after I had taken the boys to school, and after examining it back to the hospital for an X-ray.
sent home with instructions to ice and elevate. But no broken bones.
I have missed a phone call from the NHS as I was driving home, it says it will contact me again soon. So don't know what that is about.
I had to postpone the work on the car, move my 10am customers to tomorrow and this afternoon, and the 11 to 2.30, and then dash to deliver the old fella's waistcoat before collecting DGS's from school and nursery. So hardly any sewing done again!
at this rate I will be sewing Saturday afternoon when boys are with other family.
talk about having to re-organise everything! At least being self employed and working from home makes life easier.
social have not replied to my messages and requests. So I don't know when I will get my next money in, so I think I will be robbing Peter to pay Paul a bit For a little while.
not the end of the world just a little inconvenient. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Just so you don't worry those calls from the NHS are very often surveys relating to a recent use of NHS services.4

They're a call centre or often something nothing to do with anything. Had a random Dr speaking about his services once. Looked him up and he was a well known fake trying to fish for private patients. I just respond to calls or messages from our surgery, hospitals my dd attends and clinics ditto.Ss Has dgd still got her double appt tomorrow with the GP? I'm hoping that may begin to give some clarity on the situation. None of us are able to properly work out what is the problem but I doubt it's just hormones etc.Sorry to hear about the money not being paid. You must be fed up as it's happened in the past. Fingers crossed they sort it asap. For whatever reson DS seems to be focusing on the GF. I know you mentioned she's on benefits but would it be possible he could move in with her and pay his way. with everything above board? Depends how well he's been paying down the debts but should help your wellbeing . It isn't fair to be constantly having to change your day to sort out the things he hasn't done. You've enough to do without being let down and upset at least you wouldn't need to feed him ( sounds harsh but he wont change)Hope all the poorlies have recovered and dgds foot heals. Dd picked up Norovirus the weekend before last followed by flu so same old, same old here. I wouldn't mind but she'd only been out once and was mainly indoors apart from a quick trip to the village for a breath of air.Take carepollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.3
