Thankyou so much.

happy birthday savvy, I hope you've had a good day.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"3

Morning, as promised, an update.
I am well, except for the permanent damage to my left hand, that has triggered arthritis. It's difficult to sew for long periods of time, and so I have decided that I am going to restructure my business and I have started teaching the sewing again.DGD has had her first group of equine therapy sessions and we are just looking for funding options for her next set.
she is still anxious etc but has started to meet up with some of her old friends.
Dgs1 has been diagnosed with Attatchment disorder, and trauma issues and is having sensory therapy.Dgs2 is showing signs of Attatchment issues, but not too the same extent as his brother. But they do like most boys, seem to fight a lot!
Mum is not very strong and her eyesight is getting worse. She is still isolating and nervous about getting any illnesses not just COVID.Biggest is so busy with her work and children that catching up with her is difficult at the moment.
twin 1 and her partner have traded their car for a campervan and have been up to visit, and we went to see them when we were on holiday at the campsite near them.Twin2 is plodding a long in the static caravan, and I have to help her with shopping, washing clothes and getting to appointments etc
DS is still working hard as a courier and mostly at his GFs rather than the caravan with his sister. The assessments for the children are on going.
so there you have it.
as I now move into my next decade of life with optimism that the things we are dealing with will improve as the time goes on.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.8 -

Hello from the Savvy household. Thanks to Pollyanna messaging me, I am finally here to give you an update.I can't believe that it is 5 months since I was last on MSE!
The boys are growing fast, and we are used to being a family unit now.I don't get much time to work, as life is so busy. Dgs1 has been diagnosed with severe ADHD and is now on medication to help him. We are in the process of getting an EHCP. He has unfortunately a lot of issues and is sometimes excluded from school, which makes working a little difficult at times, along with the trouble with my left hand.
Dgs2 seems to have settled down more and appears to be a happy little chap who is going to be 4 on Christmas Eve.
DGd is still at home and having two types of therapy. I am having to pay for her equine therapy but Social are paying for her Serendipity therapist. However she continues to see her friends and has joined the netball club.
Twin2 had to leave the caravan, and is currently living with us. Her friend died suddenly in August and the family are blaming twin2 as the girl was staying with her at the time. Despite doing everything to try to resuscitate and administering cpr until the ambulance arrived. Unfortunately the family ( the family from hell!), are spreading rumours about twin2 and she couldn't go back to her little home. The trauma has put her back a lot.
Twin1 is still in Kent with her partners family.DS is back with the GF and her children, he still has his job and even started to pay me back weekly when he gets paid. Life for him has improved thankfully.
Biggest is still working and juggling her children and work like so many Mums. Unfortunately she recently had COVID, and then so did her eldest daughter. Luckily neither were too bad and didn't need hospital treatment. My Mum has had two eye operations and is enjoying better sight now. My brother came over from France to care for her duering the process and has returned to France now. This week the boys are home as both full of the winter coughs and colds. PCR tests were negative, thankfully.
we managed a week in Portugal in August. We had assistance through the airport due to the ADHD that Dgs1, twin2 have, and DGDs anxiety. So we managed the experience quite well. We stayed on a campsite in a mobile home, which had 3 bedrooms so it was a good compromise to a hotel. The boys loved it. They enjoyed the pool, lots of pizza (not very Portuguese), and we even braved the ZooMarine. It was a little stressful but worth it.
We are supposed to be going to the caravan park for Christmas but as this new variant of COVID has surfaced I am not sure if I am going to go.Dgs1 has just been sick I better go!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.14 -

Just popping in to wish you and all the family a happy and peaceful Christmas Savvy. The excitement is probably high now as the boys wait for Santa. I was watching him starting his journey earlier so if they're good he wont forget to call.I was so glad to hear of the progress that has been made to improve things for both them and DGD though more should have been available for DGD without you having to fund things yourself.Hoping twin 2 is feeling less stressed now poor girl seems to have horrible things to cope with.If she still has your bed do take care of your own health sleeping on a sofa isn't good for your health conditions long term. There were a lot of positives in your last post. Now DS has offered to repay you what he owes take him up on it. I know you didn't always agree with me but I stressed over the last few years he needed to repay all he owed to learn the value of money and that mum wasn't an endless money pit.Hope all is well with your mum but not sure if your brother will be able to come for a visit.Best wishes to your dear friend too and her family. Twin 1 , Biggest and all their children.Things do seem much better now so have a Happy Christmas MC don't knock yourself out but accept any help offered. Also thinking of all our friends that followed your threads over the years. Merry Christmas and hopefully a good new year for all.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
