Happy Christmas everyone. XWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.3

The little man was poorly yesterday, sick a few times, slept a lot, and then it was 9.40 this morning before anyone else but me surfaced. A minor miracle in my house.
presents opened, brotherly arguing over each other's toys.
twin2 is in charge of the dinner. We had cancelled our holiday away, with COVID around I deemed it too risky. Glad now that we stayed home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Thankyou everyone for still caring and supporting me. It means a lot.I do cross paths with a few from here, and yes I do miss the daily banter about life with us all.I can't promise I will always be here, but I will try. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.6

I have just spent the week reading this whole thread in my evenings.
(Having avoided it for ages when top of the forum page as the number of pages felt like too much of a commitment)
It's nice to see things are improving for you now the children are all a bit older and more settled.1 -
Thankyou,
that's some commitment to read the thread. I have a lot more good days than bad, although dealing with three with mental health issues is never easy. Twin2 is highly unlikely to be moving out any time soon. So I am just trying to think about how I can re work our space. I think that decluttering is going to have to be high on my agenda. I feel pretty shoehorned in the front room at the moment.Unfortunately little man was sick again yesterday, and hardly moved much today. So I am stuck at home still. But there are worse places to be. Especially with the yuk weather we are currently having.Let's hope that tomorrow will be a good day.

stay safe everyone.I've been thinking back all those years ago when the twins had their babies. So long ago and you weren't SS then. Are the little ones still in what was DGDs bigger bedroom? Probably wouldn't be popular with the boys but would both DGD and Twin 2 be able to share the bigger room? That should give you your own bed back.Weather has been pretty dire here so best staying put.Hoping all have a reasonable New Year seems we just need to take it one day at a time. Take care all and best wishes to your Mum SS, the op must have cheered her up. I wouldn't hesitate if the the time came I needed one, like you my eyes are important whether reading , crafting , upcycling or just watching the garden grow.Decluttering there are a number of refugees in this area along with the regular local charities. Almost all will do kerb side collections by arrangement or drop offs outside their shops.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

It certainly is a long time since I started under the other name. The twins had their babies in 2007.I have thought about trying to rearrange the upstairs, possibly partitioning the biggest room. But as I don't own the house I would need to get permission from the housing association.
I think a lot of thinking outside of the box is required. The relationship between Dgd and her Aunt is sometimes rather frustrating so I am not sure that if they shared it would be very good. What I do have is a lot of outside space that is currently not used very well. I think that creating areas outside for the family is something to look at, and I want to insulate my cabin.I will look into who around here will benefit when I get into the decluttering.I will be doing a little each day as soon as the boys are back in school.Wishing everyone a Happy And Safe New Year xWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Wishing SS and everyone all the best for the new year xx2
