Well I managed to get 3 children to school, 3 different schools of course.
Get to my hospital appointment for Physio. Came home to DS sorting out the camper and complaining about DGD's mess. ( well some of the mouldy dishes were definitely from a bygone era!, and his as I have never seen the dishes before!). So my kitchen was completely covered in dirty dishes which he didn't stay around to help wash up!
I got the wedding dress done with 5 minutes to spare for collecting DGS 2 followed by 1.
so mamouth washing up job before I sat in the garden with a cup of tea and looked at the first strong sun on the day. Then it was making dinner etc.
dgd went to school, came home with blisters on her heels from her new shoes!
so I dressed them for her.
started to get a sore throat mid afternoon, so I have taken some paracetamol, and after hunching over the wedding dress with a magnifying glass to unpick the lace, my back aches. So I have come to bed as soon as I got the boys to bed, and I am hoping that I will be fine tomorrow.

I am still tired today. I didn't sleep too well, partly because Dgs2 was awake several times and partly because I just couldn't sleep for part of the time.
Dgd was not so enthusiastic about going to school today and had telephoned me twice already.
Dgs1 was up at 6 but he watched scooby doo on the videotv for w while before coming into my room. He had breakfast club this morning, so I was able to leave Dgs2 with Dgd for a few minutes while I took him.
Dgs2 asked to go to bed mid morning but he didn't sleep, so I have only pottered today. I am so tired that I am not pushing myself to do anything.
I have passed half a dozen jobs over to my other lady to do, as she has more free time than I do.
I have concentrated on the washing and drying today.
I was going to build the other bench but I haven't. I have decided that rest is the best option for me today.

It's best you take things as easy as possible at the moment Ss. I know you've got a lot to do and will feel fristrated when you can't get on with all your work and plans. Sometimes just doing the absolute basics is the way to go.Your body is talking to you so best to listen for a while.I was wondering how DGD was going back to school yesterday. Fingers crossed she'll last the day today.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Savvy, I agree with Polly (as usual!), your body is clearly telling you that it needs rest and pushing on is likely to be counter-productive in the long run. It's not difficult!

DgD went to school well on Thursday, but came home with blisters on her heels from her new school shoes.
yesterday she wasn't quite so eager to go so was late, she rang me twice through the day. I collected her after I collected dgs1.I went to bed at the same time as dgs1.
he slept in my bed as he really wanted his granny.
I took them to visit Nanny at her horses today, and dgD got to stay for a couple of hours and be with the horses, while I did Mums and our shopping. Went back for DGd, and then home for my Bride booked in. Decided that my ticklish cough is not a good idea so got the bride to take the dress to try at home. I don't want to risk anything. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
I'm wondering if spending time with the horses if DGD agees to make an effort to go to school without hanging back or phoning you could work . OK it's a bribe but might it help?Hope the cough soon clears and the rest of the weekend goes well.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
