I have been very busy with trying to fit in appointments, sewing and family time.
actually the children haven't been too bad, dgd has enjoyed seeing the horses on a Saturday when I drop the boys off and having the dog for the weekend has kept us on our toes.
working on my next phase of the Buisness when they all go back to school on Thursday. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.6 -

I hope all goes well for the return to school on Thursday. Tomorrow is back to school in this area.I've no idea how it will go. I've spoken to staff and others in education over the last few months and there are very mixed feelings.Local council, unions and many staff feel it's too early especially as we head towards flu and norovirus season. Some parents are glad ,some not. There's some relief that uniforms, school shoes etc haven't had the wear and tear over the last months and in many cases still fit. However some schools and colleges have made last minute changes. No blazers as most are specific to school outfitters and dry clean only..So sweatshirts only from official suppliers with embroidered badge already in place. No option to buy a sweatshirt and sew on the school badge. I think things are going to be interesting in the days to come.Your members only website looks interesting. I don't do FB or Twitter but do follow various blogs and websites. It's good to see you adapting and making plans in this strange time we find ourselves in.Hope all here are ok. This too shall pass.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

I know this doesn't apply in a school so much (less distancing and masking) but where Covid 19 happened in a winter country flu was largely suppressed by those same measures we employ against coronavirus.

It's starting to be a long day as the boys are arguing, aggressively together and making such a noise despite my asking them to be quiet as they are giving me a headache.
dgd has helped today and gone to the post office for me, and also bought milk which saved me dragging the boys out and enabled me to save money by not being tempted by yellow stickers etc
Dgs2 has woken with a runny nose! Just before the return to school. Typical.
Dgd and her friend sat in the house with Dgs1 ( Dgs2 was asleep), while I finished alterations to a school blazer that is needed by tomorrow. But that was long enough for her and once 2 was up I had to give up the idea of sneaking in any further sewing.
I have two loads of washing on the line, two loads wet in the basket in the bathroom.
the sky keeps threatening but so far it has remained dry.
I want to be doing things but when Dgs1 is in destruction mode then it's all about fire fighting rather than anything else.
Thankfully he has not been as bad as in previous weeks.
still challenging but not as often or as long.
Copious amounts of tea happening as I am restless to be doing and so keep heading for the kettle to do something.

dgs2 has had a 2 hour sleep, and now it's only 5.20 and he grabbed his blanket and went off up to bed.
said he was tired. I think it's probably because he has a cold. But it means that tonight is going to be a very disturbed night at best.
I think I need to get Dgs1 hearing tested as he keeps turning up the TV and it is not doing anything for my headache.
off to take paracetamol before I forget and it gets worse.

Hiya SS you are such a trooper, I admire you massively. Have you looked into weighted blankets for the children ? A friends got one for her son who is on the spectrum and he is sleeping better and will take himself off with it to calm down during the day4
