I have had a good day.
The boys went down relatively well and I had enough energy to go out into the cabin and I made a quick dress between 8.30 and 10pm
i have been reading and have come up to bed. Time for lights out as I expect Dgs2 to wake in a few hours.
lets believe that tomorrow is going to be a good day as well.

As predicted Dgs2 woke at around 2 am 5.30
but I managed to get him to go back to sleep in my bed. So I managed to go back to sleep until 7again.
when Dgs1 came thudding in and headed for the gadgets on charge.
I have been a bit leaniant as I needed to change beds and do washing so I have allowed some gadgets this morning.
DS is supposed to be coming over to see the boys at some stage today. Just waiting on a time.

I'm amazed that you can make a dress in a couple of hours! In the days when I did sew, it would have taken me about a week :(

    It's not difficult!

I only made a simple slip with bust darts. Waist darts in the back and an invisible zip. I already had a pattern that I could adapt so. Just pinned it out, cut it. Sewed the darts and headed for the Overlocker for a lot of it.
I have had a busy day. Not a massive amount to show for it though.
general washing on the line etc. Boys beds changed. Repaired a broken drawer with some wood glue and some light hammering. Started to repair another. Quick trip to the coop when DS turned up to see the kids.
Had a few new sewing jobs in.
read a lot and made notes as I studied above the din of two boys playing at my feet.
My friend came round to collect her Avon, and we sat talking until about 20 minutes ago.
joined a group with Elaine and several others on a Debt Free Diva page on Facebook.
looking forward to a few challenges to get my motivation kick started for the autumn.
Feeling fired up and ready to go.
challenged myself to start making some more masks, as people are realising they need more than one, and given myself a target of 200 masks by 1Oth September.
I will start tomorrow afternoon after my new jobs are done.
    Boys are in holiday club.

What a difference a few hours makes.!
Woken to a bit of a squall here. I have had to rescue the washing that was under the gazebo and pull in some of the sides.
I see the paddling pool has blown across the garden and the swing seat top has moved. Looks like I am going to have to take the gazebo covering off and pack it and the swing seat stuff away.
My new sofa is arriving today and I had hoped to put the other one under the gazebo until I decided if it was rescue-able or not.
The boys have holiday club, Dad is collecting them and I have the night off as they are going on a sleepover.
The plans have had to be tweaked over the days for a sleepover as DS has a new job, but he is hoping to do a sleepover once a fortnight.
Although it was noisy yesterday the boys were not too bad. My friend came round in the evening so I didn't go back out to my cabin to do anymore work.
I am hoping that I will have time out there later today.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
