Well I am lazerbeamed focused at the moment.
a group of us Ladies have joined forces and are going to do down the debts, aim to increase our incomes and upscale our businesses.
I have received my Self employment grant, and used half for the business and the other has been bunged at the debts.
Using the DiY cutter I managed to cut out 110 interfacing backings for the next batch of masks, and iron them on to the backs last night.I have 3 Thermal bags cut out and I have started to take in alterations again. So by the time the children return to school I am hopefully be ready to work 3 days a week.
Dgd has punched a wall! So has highly likely broken her knuckles if not she's dam lucky.Another trip to the X-ray department tomorrow if it doesn't look good. Currently ice and elevate.
( dont worry I also think that it is deliberate because of school).
she has time 2 talk tomorrow. I have changed my Physio as it clashed.
we had a good day with the boys yesterday but it's been rather rocky today.
dgs2 has fallen asleep and although it is late I am thankful as they have been full on.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -

I seem to keep loosing posts.
full on day. Managed to shorten 2 Prs trousers and repair a rip in some jeans, fit a suit and then take DGD to A& E.
originally told not broken but about 3 hours later got a call from hospital that they now think it is and to go to the fracture clinic in the morning.
took her to time 2 talk, and waited outside. Back to collect boys from Dad who was playing with them in the field near nursery as he forgot the car seats.
Planted some hydrangea in the front garden and did a bit of weeding, and pottered in garden. Reclaimed my greenhouse that had blown over the neighbours fence! Strung some lights.
once everyone went to bed I did a few hours of sewing. I hour on alterations and I on masks.

That was a late night for you Savvy!
I'm glad that GD is getting some input, it sounds as if she has feelings that she is unable to express verbally at the moment. Your life always seems to be lived at 100 miles per hour, in direct contrast to mine, it makes me feel tired just reading about it!
OH and I volunteered to be 'Nightstop' hosts for a charity earlier this year (https://services.actionforchildren.org.uk/dorset-services/for-young-people/nightstop/) and currently have our very first guest - a nice young lass who was at pains to tell me that she is not a 'bad girl'. She has been found a permanent place to live but it is not quite ready for her yet. We know she won't be here for long though as our son is visiting at the weekend, so we will need the bedroom! It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
'Wonder' - to feel curious.7 -

it was lucky my friend could keep an eye on the boys while I went to the Fracture clinic with DGD. Even luckier that the table and benches arrived first thing in the morning before I had to go out!
Dgd has broken 2 metatarsals in her right hand and is now buddy strapped.
I spent 4 hours on my hands and knees building the table and one of the benches. Had to have a hot bath and an early night afterwards.
Today I had fittings booked in, and did a few small jobs but had to stop as babysitting Biggest's two little ones for a few hours as their Dad couldn't pick them up earlier. We also have the dog for the weekend. It was a bit of a fight to get two more car seats in the car so I could go and collect my two at 3pm
I have pottered around the downstairs moving bits of furniture and trying to make better use of the space.
so the old folding table is in the kitchen and the recycling bin is outside the back doorway, and the trolley the bread machine was on is now in the bathroom with all the towels on it, instead of the precarious pile on top of the cabinet.!
I can use the good flap of the table when I want to do some cooking or things where the kids can stand on the bathroom steps and help me.I will be moving the big table and the Ikea toy shelves once I have built the second bench, and then I will make two padded seats for the benches.I can see things coming together.
I have ordered the light, angle clamp and a remote to be able to practise my tutorials in the evening once the boys are in bed.
I am not sure if I will work this evening, or not. It will depend on the boys settling and the dog.I have cleared off one of my smaller debts, a chunk off of my Credit cards, and it's now down by £664
bringing it down to £24,900 now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
I hope that GD's hand isn't too painful - although I also hope she has learned not to punch things in temper (BTW, it is metacarpals in hands, tarsals in feet
)
I also hope that you get a quiet evening and night! It's not difficult!

I know it's early days yet Ss but I hope Time2talk will prove positive for DGD. If she can give it a fair chance it may just help move her forward. The therapy with horses sound good but I wouldn't introduce that right away. She's probably counting down the days to school so best one thing at a time.I hope Twin1 is ok.and is staying in touch. The nights are drawing in here. It's feeling cold tonight. Perhaps you'll get some early nights once the boys adjust and settle earlier.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.5 -
I am in bed now.
going to read and finish my cup of tea and then get some sleep. At least DGD is happy curled up with Biggest's dog this evening .
