I don’t write very often but I think you are amazing. You put everyone before yourself. Those who criticize you should walk even 10ft in your shoes!!! I have a 9 and 12 year old with no issues and have really struggled with lockdown and tbh they are good as Gold it’s just the lack of silence I miss! God willing things will get better...
Sending you lots of love x10 -
The sound of Silence is priceless isn't it.

it is a bit different as it was a recipe from the £20 a week cook book. ( can't remember the exact title). It has red lentils in it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
If the lentils are cooked down enough, add a large dollop of tomato ketchup .......they will eat it tomorrow when it's (hopefully) a bit cooler :-D Tomato ketchup cures an awful lot of "don't like it" cries in our family - through the ages :-D

I had a call from the junior school nurse, that the health visitor contacted after my call about Dgs2, and decided Dgs1 needed some intervention over his soiling himself. She is also going to try to get all the various departments working together for all the children and me.
then this afternoon I have had a call from Time to Talk and have finally got an appointment for Dgd. Next week.
looks like as lockdown is easing that everyone are now starting to engage with us.
lets hope that everything will be done to support each and everyone of us. I was asked who supported me, and I said online communities as without the people here I know that I would have gone under a long time ago.
I thank everyone of you for pushing me, writing this making me accountable and Pointing me in the right directions.
I no longer feel that I cannot cope. I know that I am not alone and there are thousands of grandparents going through the same or similar situations. We've had four long nights of thunder and lighning some rain which didn't do much to cool things down. I remember when the rain would change the atmoshphere and the air would change to fresher and cooler. That doesn't seem to happen much lately.Reading your post it sounds as though things are beginning to happen.I hope both DGS1 and DGD will have positive help and support to help them and take some of the weight of your aching shoulders.Just been catching up and I'm so glad you had such a positive day with the foster carers and they talked of the changes they could see with the boys since they came to live with you.Seeing all the help and support from other friends here is heartwarming.I think that should finally answer all who have berated you for putting your life on an open forum. We never know what lies ahead in life but everyone needs emotional support especially when services are stretched or not good.I hope the physio is helping your wrist and all here are ok.I've had a busy week. Sciatica srarted to calm then over the last few days I had some lenghty phone calls to make to BT and the energy company . Sorted things with BT except log in. They're sending emails to help me change my log in as are the Energy company. Problem is they're sending them to my old no longer accessable email. The only change is the provider rest of the address is the same. It's not exactly rocket science.I've emailed both, phoned again . I want to stay with BT but am going to look for another energy company. I looked at recent feedback and it seems everyone is having problems. They were really good for years but it seems not any more.Town and meds tomorrow.Take care allpollyx

It contained A Live, Love, Matter water flask, and baseball cap ( Dgd nabbed immediately) and a years supply of planners. It was exciting receiving a parcel that I wasn't expecting or paid for! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
