Very peaceful considering.
I don't think I am going to hurry to put them to bed it is just still so hot.
I cut the grass and the storms have not arrived here. Mind you I let Dgs2 sleep a little too long as I was enjoying the peace and quiet. They have managed to sneak a children's YouTube on Google gadget while I have been looking at alternatives for our holiday.
I have decided that it would make sense to try to rearrange the second week in France as well as the first part and so I am waiting for a reply from the company over the next few days. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Am I the only one wondering why you didn't ask / tell Twin2 to cut the grass for you?

she was in the camper sleeping most of the day. She had run out of her antidepressant when she was here last so we had to email her surgery and ask if they could send her prescription to the chemist here. So she had collected them and started to take them again, and the results were she was knocked sideways again. It didn't take long to cut the grass and as I had done it recently not so difficult to do. Just walk up and down the garden and thinking time. Mind you I am getting and going to get quite a bit of thinking time as I slow up.
dgs2 and I are up, but his brother is still asleep. We have been awake two hours!
They are going to their other family today, and are due their first sleepover since being in my home.
fingers crossed for everyone that it is a success and that it doesn't cause anything upsetting for any of us.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.3 -

Good morning Savvy,
Is the other Granny on board with keeping snacks and treats healthy? Sugar and fizzy pop have such a bad effect on all little ones but especially ASD children - and you'll get the fallout next day which is a melt-down waiting to happen - that is a complication you really don't need.5 -

I have packed a bag and hope that I have everything covered. Just washing dgs2's Blankie or they will have fun trying to settle him later.
I will have time to go shopping with out rushing and clock watching which will be a novelty for me.

So just been sorting out my Tax Credits renewal know that Social have returned my paperwork.
I hadn't been claiming for the extra childcare that I pay for the boys, so I have added that to my claim on the gateway account and there is a help to save account I am eligible for, that if I pay into for 4 years I can get 50% bonus.
so I have opened that immediately. That's a no brainer.
I can save up to £50 a month.

I'm glad that you are getting a 'day off' (no, I don't for one moment imagine you are sitting with your feet up all day!) and hope you will be able to re-charge your batteries, as it were. Trying to balance looking after the boys with earning enough to keep a roof over your heads can't be easy so I'm glad that you will have a bit more coming in each week. I hope that will enable you to rest your hand over the summer without worrying about finances.
It was much cooler here yesterday but remained dry - which allowed me to spend some time with my best friend in her garden. It is raining now, at least that will keep the covidiots away from our beaches! It's not difficult!

I can't imagine how such people think?
I am nervous about having to go to the Primarni with dgd as she desperately needs new clothes. I have masks at the ready of course. But still I can feel the dread rising. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.4
