The boys are back and in bed.
a little late, but all ok.
I have done very little all day. My reason to relax and rest my hand was one of the reasons but it faught against all my instinct to do things.I am just not used to doing nothing. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.4 -
Sometimes all you need to do is nothing xxxxxx Is DGD okay? Talking to Twin 2?
4 -
DGD is fine. She's been learning lines for some videos her and her friend are making up.
twin2 has been out in the campervan all day, enjoying watching some Korean movies or something on line. Apparently she's learning the language.
so all three of us have been in our own space all day. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
I've been sent a link to a map of Lockdown Loos. It seems the larger supermarkets and Shell service stations are still offering loos, and my local council has started re-opening public toilets, slowly.Signature removed for peace of mind5

I have saved the link to my screen on my phone. There is no public loo open here or in the shopping centre. So I will be shopping on line if we need anything.Dgs2 woke at 3.40am and 6.30 I can cope with that. If only we could go straight through and we would be there.School only for Dgs1 today. So I will not be finishing any of my sewing that I still have to do until tomorrow. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.8 -
Well as half expected, but hoped wouldn't, Dgs1 was sent home from school early because of bad behaviour.
The head has said in an ordinary time they could have dealt with it, but because of their bubbles they can't. That it appears to be worse after seeing his other family. I am at a loss to know what I can do without upsetting them.
Today has seen dgd stressy fit, Dgs2 have time out for kicking, Twin2 have two panic attacks. Fun times.
me? I think I have had 6 cups of tea now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.2 -
Is the other family problem too much sensory input do you think? And does DGD "catch" it?I was told many years ago by a psychiatrist (a neighbour who used to give me a lift to work & we had to talk about something, I used to think he needed more help than his hospital clients) that sometimes the person showing most signs of a problem were not actually the ones with the problem, but the one closest to the one with the problem. Well that was a mouthful. But I hope you get the drift. This is one reason why I am in favour of DS moving away.6

Sue, thank you for the link to available loos.
Savvy, I'm glad you got a quiet day but it seems you are 'paying' for it now.
Badmemory - I have met a fair few psychiatrists and most of them have been less 'sane' than their patients!
Speaking of which, my BFF is currently doing her best to support another friend who is very unwell and is in hospital under 'section'. BFF's own mental health is a little fragile and she is finding things hard, so I went over to lend a listening ear this afternoon. It is a touch windy outside today so I am a bit dishevelled now.
It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
'Wonder' - to feel curious.4 -
I believe that it is change that gets Dgs1 the most.
dgd is more complex I think.
twin2 admitted that being around the little children is very difficult so she's been out in the van a lot. She seems happy out there.
DS is hardly here these days. when I have finished the few jobs that I have, then I will not really be needing any help and I am just hoping that he will set a routine of quality time with them.
I am expecting the team social services are sending to come this morning.Once they have been I am hoping to do a little sewing, and I mean only a little. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.4 -
