Have a good day Buffy - I'm starting to spend less time watching news and online because it's upsetting me too much.
I had a little tantrum the other day about being the only adult in the house, so it's happening to all of us. I love my kids dearly but it is hard having to do everything and not having any extra help to fall back on.
Much love
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

I think we all get your dilemma. I know that if I really think about what’s happening, I freeze with fear so I only expose myself to what I can handleMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. My advice is don’t overthink or you’ll drive yourself nuts. I did it a couple of weeks ago and got really upset. It’s beyond our control apart from staying home, that’s all we can do xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Evening all,
I did the 40 bags last year and it was good. One issue I have at the moment is the rubbish is building up and so are the donations.
Today was a disaster. I think most of the time I disagree with the government but in the end it doesn't matter because you adapt and cope, and really I have always subscribed to the theory that we survive in spite of the politicians not because of them.
However, in this current situation, the danger is here, in this country, my students and their families are at risk, my family is at risk and if we get it we could die. This isn't Brexit, this isn't your standard silly political argument of little consequence. And I am so disappointed and horrified by the political response. There is no leadership here. There is no care for the people of this country. I understand it is new and we don't know what is happening or maybe how it will play out, but the only reason they are opening up now is to make money, it only risks the poor, the rest of us lucky !!!!!! can stay safe at home. And yes we need a working economy but if you really cared about people going to work you would make clear and specific rules about working practices and protection for people. Not some vague oooo go to work if you can safely work (how do we safely work then?) and so when there is a second wave it will be our sodding fault for not being "alert" enough.
A really dark part of me thinks all this social distancing and hand washing is a lie, the virus is coming and that it is, they don't care about doing what is right, only what is profitable - I presume because the virus will have to run its course now and that is it. We have to do the best we can to survive.
Any way had to get that off my chest.Nevertheless she persisted.5 -
I have been thinking - I am sure you are all shocked by this!
The Lockdown plan - there had to be one!
1. House (as in me owning one)
2. Health (mental and physical)
3. Holiday (post virus, ideally with a man)
These are my three goals at the moment. To be fair the six month plan at the start of this diary is still all going on but I need daily things to do. So each day I am going to do something for each of those things. XXXNevertheless she persisted.5 -

I’ve had to stop decluttering as I don’t have any way to get rid of anything that needs throwing unless it fits in the wheelie bin and my cupboard is full of bags waiting to go to the charity shop when they reopen.Good to see you’ve been setting some goals. Looking forward to hearing about goal 3 when it happens 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It has been a miserable few days! but the tip is open from Monday so at least I can get rid of something again! (later in the week!)
I am all caught up with work so that is good. I ordered me a new chest of drawers, a raised bed and a out side table for mum and it is half term soon. Progress will be made!!
Nevertheless she persisted.2
