Our tip opens tomorrow but it's a call and book a slot and then you can't have another for a month.  I'm going to wait a bit longer, I know some people were on hold for 5 hours trying to book a slot yesterday!

Glad the house buying is still on the cards, it's a must, you need your own space.  I'm so glad we got this place last year, I'd have been bored rigid at the old house as everything was done.

(changed my name but you can probably guess who I am, garden/allotment/cats etc)

They did warn it might cause traffic jams....and basically not to come! So I will leave it for a bit. For a lot of stuff I think I am still going to get a man with a van. Cos it is too big for the car. But I have bags of rubbish that can't be recycled. And I would be too embarrassed to have some collect it!

And I think I know who are :) XXX

What about hiring a small skip?
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

You need a licence and round here people dump their rubbish in skips unless you have a drive. And to be honest I love the idea of it all going and being tidy after.

Went into work, had a lovely day. I love my job and really miss my kids. Unfortunately it seems whenever I have a good day Mum has a bad one so she has been really picky all night. Plus the scummy family (sorry, we had a problem with them about 12 years ago, he is a con artist and also assaulted the woman who lived here before and his wife) over the back are building yet another outbuilding/extension. If it gets any taller it will over look our garden. And he is a nasty peace of work. I am stressing about it. It will mean noise and dust and it is right next to my veg patch so there! We don't have much luck with neighbours here.
I made a nice dinner, planted some plants and am tired enough that I will sleep despite having a nap this afternoon.

I have spent money on red sandals. And am now going to eat chocolate.

I can't find any record of it but thanks to the awesome* Tories people can build up to 8 metres high without it. I am going to take photos (yes people I am that neighbour!!) and e mail the council and ask them.

    *heavy sarcasm.
