I’ve been mostly wearing workout gear since lockdown. I recently bought a new sports bra and a bright yellow hoodie. I wear something nicer to go to the shop though, plus mascara and lipstick 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Angry Buffy. VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY Angry Buffy.
Angry Buffy probably needs therapy. Or a shag.
1. My neighbour's building is Metal. Shiny shiny shiny and about 12 foot long. So I have e mailed the council to ask if I can extend my fence up with some kind of reed screening to hide it. It is a good ten foot high at least. Ideas welcome.
2. My period. !!!!!! hormones.
3. The fact that our !!!!!! government is easing lock down to cover or appease the idiots so they vote for them again and forget about what that selfish arrogant !!!!!! did and is probably continuing to do.
4. My Friend's dog is ill.
5. And I can't even write about the situation in America. I don't feel qualified.

2.- be done with tomorrow
3. I don't know. NO IDEA. I know being angry is stupid and pointless but politics is a big interest of mine. And this disappoints me. The elite have gone too far. I am living out my fears.
4. so upset. She is a lovely dog. Might try and send her something?
5. Frightened. That is all.
I just have to keep my eye on the prize, do the garden, clear the house, save money, move on.

Buffythedebtslayer said:Yeah..... that is good point about the job security. My job is pretty safe. My benefits are good. Maybe one month. Hmmm. I also have access to credit and realistically I would use all but the HTB money in a real crisis.
xxxxIt's a bit like all the dire warnings about having life insurance and critical illness insurance. I have no dependents, nobody else needs my house, I would get a death in service benefit via my pension scheme and apparently life insurance premiums don't reduce with no claims discounts! so frankly I couldn't see the point of paying out for it. Similarly, when I went through critical illness cover with a financial adviser there isn't all that much benefit to me - my job comes with a year's sick leave, I have plenty of transferable skills and I already have some pension that I could take from 60 (assuming the Tories haven't completely dismantled the public sector by then) - and the best quote he could get me was £60 a month!! so I didn't take up that either. Obviously I review things as my situation changes but at least that's a considered decision, rather than throwing money at a one size fits all idea that isn't necessarily right for me.If you're comfortable with £1000 as a cushion, and you've worked out why, then that's your choice to make.RB xx

Is there currently a market for a professional to review school work done at home? Buffythedebtslayer said:Yes. I think I might aim to have to have a 1000 for that, a 1000 for the vets and then some sort of car fund that I keep paying into. I am going to have to knuckle down tho with the savings. hopefully I can get back to tutoring somehow. The dog insurance is now a 100 pounds a month, 200 for the HTB, 600 pounds other savings. I am lucky to be able to save so much. I need to look into. I just wish it was payments to my mortgage! Saying that, it is pretty much what I was paying off the debt a month at one point. I need to look into having a no spend month....That sounds like the start of a plan.Owch and empathies to the pet insurance!
