  • Yes. I think I might aim to have to have a 1000 for that, a 1000 for the vets and then some sort of car fund that I keep paying into. I am going to have to knuckle down tho with the savings. hopefully I can get back to tutoring somehow. The dog insurance is now a 100 pounds a month, 200 for the HTB, 600 pounds other savings. I am lucky to be able to save so much. I need to look into. I just wish it was payments to my mortgage! Saying that, it is pretty much what I was paying off the debt a month at one point. I need to look into having a no spend month....

That sounds like the start of a plan.
Owch and empathies to the pet insurance!

Yep, plus the rabbits are about 500 quid a year.

  • Is there currently a market for a professional to review school work done at home? Clearly not for your pupils but I have heard some parents express concern at their lack of knowledge in certain areas.
there is some online stuff. But am not sure re tax. if it would be worth it.

Am watching some thing called The Order. Also searching for places to live. Am pleasantly surprised to see the prices have dropped a little bit.
    First target - 25,000
    Second Target - 40,000.
My God. I need to rob a bank.  :D
I think after all the bills go out I will move money around and see exactly what I have going on.
To save the first one in a year would mean saving 1400 a month.........Not massively likely!!
    Must go to bed.

Well we’ll come to visit you in jail when you get arrested for bank robbery 🤣 Is renting somewhere out of the question, just for your own space? It’s hard to buy nowadays on just one income unfortunately 🙁
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

  • So tired!
Monday I planted plants - wrongly according to my FB group but apparently I can move them later on.
Tuesday I went shopping for cleaning supplies. I am spending much more time in school in the near future so need to get this place ship shape and easier to clean.
Today I went to work which I LOVED. I miss my job. A lot.
Then I went to the Garden Centre. Insanity has struck. I spent 48 English pounds on plants. I by now must have spent over 100 pounds on the garden. There is nothing else to do!
Tomorrow I am going to spend gardening probably wrongly but hey it is worth a shot.
    I have
    Tomato plants X10.........I like tomatoes....
    Aubergines x5
    Courgettes x2
    Carrots x10
    Rocket X10
Also have sweetcorn, Squash (not sure I know what that is), beans of some description and two strawberry plants. and a cranberry bush but it is teeny tiny.
I also bought flowers. And have herbs. Am ridiculously excited. just need compost.

  • Any how, today sucked.
Rabbit woke me up - he will have to be shut away I just want to sleep! I do sleep but it is that half an eye open in case sleep.
I went on the hunt for compost - 4 shops. Found it at the fourth one. But had to go back and collect it later, had gone  outearly so no breakfast. got home, showered, then got the call to collect the compost. ate some crisps, went to get the compost and then spent ages at the temporary traffic lights. It was all bit stressful mainly cos I was tired and didn't eat.
Mum is just really sad today. Which means highly critical and negative to anyone near here. so fun. I wish I would get to the point where it didn't matter. Where it could wash over me. Without my lovely friends to speak to I get sucked into her way of thinking and everything is bleak and futile.
Had lunch. Remembered I had training, literally 30 seconds before it started. did that and fell asleep afterwards.........it was so honest to God BORING.
that stuffed my gardening plans. Didn't wake up until dinner which Mum ended up doing. Then I had to water the garden. there was much consternation at that.
Today I am tired of the battle to protect my mental health. I am aware I am a failure. I don't need the constant reminder.
I think tonight I will listen to some affirmations . Drag myself out of this !!!!!!.
Yesterday was lovely. I miss my job. I miss people.

  • You are not a failure.  You are the best daughter, sister, friend and pet owner you can be. You know your mum has a skewed opinion. Just remember that
