Good luck with DD's birthday celebrations!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
DH has just taken the kids out swimming so I've now got a couple of hours. I'm going to tidy round, clean the kitchen and bathroom, hoover upstairs and downstairs and then chill for a bit. I'm still not feeling right, but it's just uncomfortable more than anything else.
When they come home we've got to go and pick up a bike for little jwil, and get little miss's birthday cake and a few other bits.
It's been blowing a gale here, and next door's trees have been scraping against our window all night. Just another reason for me to be annoyed about them.
I need to get my car insurance quotes this weekend, and sort out some paperwork. I might get extra organised and write my Christmas cards too. I will also try and finish my Christmas shopping. I love having nothing to do but relax in December!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It's so dark and gloomy I really want to put up the Christmas lights. I'll have to work on DH later. We don't start decorating for Christmas until after little miss's birthday, but I think lights can be part of the celebration 😁😁 The tree and everything else can wait."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I'd definitely do the lights - I am planning to start putting my lights up. I love looking at them on cold winter evenings.
Well done on having xmas nearly sorted. I'm hardly buying for people this year so I am nearly sorted tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Glad that you are nearly sorted too. I don't buy for a lot of people, so it's not too onerous."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
I managed to get everything done I had planned today, hurrah. I did forget to try and get little miss a black top and leggings for school though so I'll have to try and do that tomorrow. I wish they'd give us notice!
I did go to the pharmacy and get some meds to tide me over until I see the GP.
Little miss says she wants to do parkrun tomorrow as well. I guess she might change her mind in the morning!
