Why are you trying to do everything when you're not well? You're poorly! Take the time to rest so you can recover. I'm guessing that's part of the problem.
Well done on the lights and getting most of the shopping done. I'm very jealous xLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Well done on the lights and getting most of the shopping done. I'm very jealous xI'm not poorly as such (although I was in the week), I just seem to have some recurring symptoms, hence booking with the GP to get it checked out. The meds I got yesterday are just to relieve some of the symptoms until the appointment and are similar to what I've had from the GP before. I just want to be sure nothing sinister is going on. I don't think resting will make a lot of difference. However, once today is over I shall take it easy

I certainly don't own her, and long may it last! I admire her strength and determination!

Small businesses are so generous! The lady was asking me if she could give her something, little miss pipes up 'yes you can!' 😆 We did buy from the stall too though.

Eek, I'll live in ignorance and hope that takes a long time to come around!

We had a lovely day yesterday. The fayre was nice, and because we got there as it opened, it was a lot quieter than in other years. It meant we got to look properly, and I got some nice gifts for friends.
DH wanted to stop at a supermarket and whilst we were there I managed to get little miss the leggings and top she needed for her nativity on Tuesday. That saved us a trip elsewhere, and also saved me money compared to online.
The party went really well so I'm glad we splashed out. We had to do nothing other than provide the cake, and the kids absolutely loved it. There was soft play, inflatables and a disco/party games so it meant everyone could spread out, and all the food and party bags were included. Not MSE, but priceless in terms of lack of stress and enjoyment from the kids. It's a local small independent business too, so hope we've made a small difference to them after a tough year.
Little miss has had some lovely gifts too, and a lot of them are craft/consumable items, so we haven't got a lot of plastic tat to deal with. She will really enjoy it, and people have been so generous.
Now that the birthday is over and I'm almost done for Christmas, I need to try and replace my savings again. I've been very spendy! I have car insurance in December, so won't be able to add too much, but hopefully I can tone down the spending otherwise. I have however, continued to make my PADs to the mortgage, and I did top up my PBs and my ISA, so my 'untouchable' savings have increased, it's just I've dipped into the easy access ones."If you can dream it, you can do it".
